super glove. DH coach

Pros: Comes broke in But you can still form it the way you want. Had a first baseman with a horribly broke in glove, to the point the ball would bounce out. Let him use my Hobbs and the problem was fixed.

Cons: Little padding for palm but it gives the glove a deeper pocket.

Pros: This glove was great to break in. It was pre-treated so it broke in easy for my kid. this was the easiest glove for him to break in that he has ever had.

Cons: I know more about Roy Hobbs than my kid does. Got to work on that part.

Pros: This is a great glove. It takes a long while to break in. For an adult this is on the small side though at 12 inches. If you want the vintage look, this is a great, great glove to own.

I am trying to decide between this glove and the Shoeless Joe Professional Series 2400 for my 10 yr old son. Which do you reccomend? Hunter
Both of these gloves are made for an adult. We recommend a youth first base mitt in an 12.00" to a 12.25".

My son is 10 yrs old. What is the difference between a 12" youth glove and a 12" adult glove? He really likes the Roy Hobbs left hand thrower 1st baseman's glove. It seems to be game ready and well made. We want to make sure that it would fit him before ordering it. Also, if the Hobbs glove isn't suitable for youth, is there a youth glove that is comparable to the Hobbs that you would suggest? Thanks. Kitty
Youth gloves are the same length as adult gloves. The main difference is youth models are a smaller fit on the hand. Any 10 year should most likely be using an adult model glove, so this Roy Hobbs Baseball Series: RH2400 First Base Mitt would be a great option for your 10 year old son.
