Pros: The feel of the leather and the fit of this glove are great. It's almost broken in right out of the bag. A very soft, yet durable kangaroo leather. Looks old school as well.

Cons: It sure seems smaller than other 32" catchers mitts. I bought this for my 11 year old son, but every coach and other player who look at it have the same response "jeez that's a small mitt". My son and the pitchers he catches for are growing used to it, but it is real small.

Pros: This mitt is top quality all the way--the leather is very supple and is game ready (not fully broke in)with just a couple of Nokona conditioner treatments and about 100 throws. I've been catching for 6 years and have used Akadema, A2000 and TPX Pro8C--this mitt beats them all for all the right reasons.

Cons: Zero

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Nokona American Pro Series: CM600W Catcher's Mitt? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Will this mitt fit a Youth who wears a size 11 glove ? Mark
This glove is going to be one of our smallest Nokona catchers mitts that we do carry. The hand and finger stalls might be a little big for someone that is under 10, but if they are close to that age they might be able to grow into the glove.

What is the difference between the Nokona Pro Line Series: CM600SX and the Nokona American Pro Series: CM600W? Connor
It comes down to the leather used. The CM600W is made from traditional cowhide. The CM600SX is made from a higher quality steerhide. Both are great gloves, but the CM600SX is made from a slightly higher quality leather.

IS THIS SIZE MITT OK FOR A 9 YEAR OLD MIKE
This particular model is made of very quality leather that will have a longer break in period. With that being said it might not be the best pick for a youth player.
