This Nokona Fastpitch Series glove offers narrower finger stalls and a smaller wrist opening for those fastpitch players. This glove offers the CoolMax finger lining that helps wick away perspiration from your hand area keeping your hand cool and comfortable. Also, this glove offers a closed back with Velcro strap to make sure your hand is nice and snug in your glove. This series also offers a full weave closed web. Any of the 12.50 or 13.00 inch fastpitch gloves will be able to work for those types of balls. 12.25-12.50 is about the smallest that I would go. I think that you will be happy with a 12.50 or 13.00 inch glove.

Yes, the AMG600WFP is ok for a shortstop who like a larger glove. However many shortstops will prefer a smaller glove.
