Pros: This Glove is outstanding. I think its way underpriced for what its worth. The leather is outstanding durability is not a question. I play Slow Pitch Softball and Baseball and its the best of both worlds. Great 3rd baseman Glove or just about anywhere in the field. Gets broken in very easily. Make sure you get some glove conditioner as you should for anyglove to keep leather in great condition - And this will be a glove you can hand down. You can go wrong with this Glove by Mizuno

Cons: None.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Mizuno MVP Series: GMVP1203? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is this Glove a solid 3rd baseman Glove for slowpitch softball or Fast pitch baseball? Even with the closed web? ChampionEggo
This glove is made for slow pitch. The hand and finger stalls will be bigger then a fast pitch glove that is made for a female. Even with the closed web, this glove will work at 3rd base.
Brett
how does this glove compare with the finch 1208 glove and what are differences. my daughter pitches and has mvp11.75 and is looking for a biger glove. Sal
The Finch glove will have smaller finger stalls for a females hand. This glove is designed for all around use in multiple sports.
KG
Is this a softball glove or a baseball glove? It seems as I'm reading that this is a softball glove. leigh
This glove can be used with both baseball and softball, it depends on how it's broken in.
Linda
I play outfield and infield (mostly 3rd when in the infield) is this glove okay for both outfield and infield? DanTheUtility
This will be more of a personal preference. Most infield players like 11.25-11.75 inch gloves. Outfielders use a glove 12.00-12.75. If you're comfortable using a 12.00 inch glove for both postions this would be a great choice.
KG
Would this be a good outfield glove? Lefty
Yes, the Mizuno MVP Series: GMVP1203 would work for outfield play. You could also consider using a 12.50"
Tom
How does this glove compare to the Rawlings Gold Glove Limited 125th Anniversary Series? George
The Gold Glove Limited Series will be just a little higher in quality and a little more durable, but overall, both are pretty comparable.
Tyler
My son is a pitcher and plays many positions. He is 13 and we were comparing the MVP Series to the GCP16S. His last glove was a Mizuno GPL 1202 youth glove. He is 5'7" and looking to transition into an adult glove that he can use for few years. Sammy
The Mizuno MVP Series: GMVP1203 and the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series: GCP16S are both quality gloves. The Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series uses a higher grade of leather and will be more durable.
