Description

This Nokona Pro Line Series is made from Premium Buckskin Leather and Sandstone Tanned Leather. Buckskin is pre-oiled cowhide leather featuring a smooth dark brown finish. It is a staple in a long line of soft, yet durable premium top grain leathers, which provides that supple, broken-in feel that is enjoyed by today's players. The Buckskin is oil injected during the tanning process, this in turn produces a more flexible glove but a heavier weight. The Sandstone Leather is on the back of the glove. This leather is much stronger than most steer hides and therefore provides stability in the gloves. The Pro Line Series gloves offer an open back with shearling for a great look and an excellent feel. Nokona offers radius welting for unmatched durability on their Pro Line Series gloves. Nokona gives this glove a contemporary styling to give it the best look. The AMG1275SXT glove comes in a 12.75-inch model. It also has a Six Finger Web. Nokona has always had the reputation of producing top of the line, durable and dependable baseball gloves and the Pro Line Series is no different. This glove was handmade in the USA in Nocona, Texas. Pros: The best glove i have ever had! Great high quality leather, and pretty easy to break in. Just play a lot of catch. Great glove for the price, beats a lot of other high priced gloves! AMERICAN MADE!!! :)

Cons: A little hard to break in.

Pros: When this came in, the leather was hard as a rock. Within a week it was game ready. It has an absolutely great feel to it, and keeps plenty stiff. The glove requires some tinkering with, mostly loosening some laces, and cutting out some of the padding in the palm for less stiffness. After those changes, this is a great glove.

Cons: Not the deepest of pockets when compared to other outfielder's gloves. Measures a little short, mine measures about 12.5".

Does the nokona pro line series AMG1275SXT glove come in a left hand thrower? Chris
At this time we only have that particular 'thrower' in stock. We already have orders in place for more gloves; however, we do not have a specific date or timeline for when Nokona will deliver them. Our website does work in real time so as soon as the gloves arrive our site will reflect that immediately. For any additional questions, you may also give us a call at 816.587.6050.

1. How true to size does this glove run? 2. How does this glove compare to the similar heart of the hide outfielder's glove? Bigger pocket? Half inch shorter? 3. Is the buckskin leather on the pocket, or on the outside? Nessie
1) Nokona's traditionally run just a tad bit smaller than advertised. 2) Quality of leather between this glove and the HOH outfield glove will be on par with each other. Neither will be overly stiff, but will display great durability. I may give the HOH a slight edge in pocket depth, but it's hardly noticable. Nokona's traditionally run a little smaller and the AMG1275SXT may measure a quarter of an inch smaller. 3) The buckskin is on the inside (palm, pocket and fingers) with the sandstone leather on the back (outside) of the glove.
