The Pro Stock Kip Leather is lightweight leather made up of a compact grain structure providing shorter break-in time and unmatched durability. Top grade Kip Leather is long prized by Major League players for its comfort and consistent performance. This A2000 Kip glove also offers the new Dri-Lex technology. This Dri-Lex technology is an ultra-breathable wrist lining that transfers moisture away from the skin, keeping your hand cool and dry. The full grain leather conforms to the players hand and wicks moisture away for complete comfort and control. This glove also features the patented Dual Welting system that offers a pre-curved finger design that helps maintain a stable and durable pocket. The Dual Welting technology is a patented design used exclusively by Wilson in the United States. Pro Stock Select offers twice the strength as normal leathers with half the weight and instant flexibility. The leather is chosen from the top five percent of Wilson Pro Stock hides. This A2000 Kip series glove offers versatile patterns for all types of players. Pros: Love the feel, color stitching. The pocket wraps around the ball well and is easy to grab and throw. I felt comfortable out of the box with it with no break in period.

Cons: Cost, but hopefully I will use it for a long time to make up for that.

Pros: I bought this glove for my daughter who is a junior in High School. She loves it. It fits perfectly and does not require a breaking in period. The pocket wraps around the ball well and her retrieval and throw is quick and easy. It does not get lost in the pocket. She likes the color contrasts and the professional finish on the stitching.

Cons: Price, but probably worth it. I am hoping it will last a long time.

can i still get an a2000 from the early 80's to mid 80's scott
I'm sure you could find one somewhere, but the only gloves we carry are brand new and typically no older than a year or two. This may be a good questions to ask at www.vintagebaseballgloveforum.com - Good Luck!

My daughter pitches, plays 1B occasionally. She loved the 13" MonstaWeb, but Wilson doesn't make that any more. If you're familiar, is this web similar to that? SBCrazy
This glove is going to have a little smaller webbing than the glove that you are talking about. This glove is going to have one of the bigger webbing and pockets in this size, but will still be smaller then the one that you currently have.

About the Brand

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.

Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
