Description

Mizuno has once again made it their priority to develop the games most exclusive line of ball gloves. One of those series is the Prospect Series. Mizunos patented PowerClose technology is unmatched in the industry. Others may try to duplicate, but no technology closes as easily. Multiple technologies like ParaFlex, PowerClose, PowerLock, V-Flex, Hi-Low Lacing and SureFit Foam, afford the youth player the best options to make catching easy. The V-Flex helps initiate easy closure while the PowerClose makes it easier for younger players to close the glove and catch the ball. Hi-Low Lacing increases flexibility throughout the web. The Parashock palm pad and SureFit Foam lining in select Prospect Series models reduce shock to minimize "sting" while delivering superior feel and comfort. Above all, the PowerClose design MAKES CATCHING EASY! Free Shipping.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Mizuno Prospect Series: GPT1150 Youth? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is this glove a good option for my soon to be eleven year old son that plays competitive travel baseball. He pitches and plays third base and has large hands for his age. If not, can you recommend a better option. Was thinking also of the Louisville Slugger model OCX1150 youth. BB dad
I think this would be a great option for your son. Usually, eleven year olds will use a 11 to 11.5 inch glove as a infielder/pitcher utility glove. The OCX1150 would also be a good option.
Rickie
Is this glove to big for 8 or 9 year old? If so what size should I get him? TheRyno
Generally, an 11 inch glove is recommended for an 8 or 9 year old. However, if you want a glove that he can grow into over the next several seasons, 11.5 inches would be a great option.
Jeff
I am looking for a glove for my 10 year old son. I want one that does not take long to break in. Is this a good choice? I am also looking at the Akadema Prodigy Series: ATM92 Youth. Thanks mike
This glove would be a great option. Mizuno makes a very quality product with an easy break in period for youth players.
