Description

Makes sure your future All-Star has the tools to best develop their skills on the diamond and check out the Wilson A500 Series. This line offers the lightest weight in the Youth glove market for an all-leather ball glove which stems from its Top Grain Leather Shell. This material not only improves a player's ability to control the glove in the field, but it reduces the break-in period to the point of creating a Game Ready feel - right out of the box. Although this glove is softer from the start, its Dual Welting and Double Palm Construction guarantee that the glove will hold its structure and provide more durability than similarly-priced Youth gloves.

This Wilson A500 Cano Series: A05RB161075 features a 10.75 Inch Pattern, I-Web (Wilson H-Web) Design, and is based on the A2000 RC22 Pattern used by Robinson Cano. You can pick up your own today with Fast, Free Shipping and a 100 Day Money-Back Guarantee at JustBallGloves.com!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson A500 Cano Series: A05RB161075? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I am 11 years old and want to a good glove for a SS. I also plan on using this glove for a very long time (possibly all through high school). Should get this glove or the A2000? GV17ALLSTAR
To get a glove with quality leather that would have the potential to last for many seasons, I would recommend getting an A2000 over this Wilson A500 Cano Series (A05RB161075). This A05RB161075 does not feature the quality of leather like an A2000 that would be able to get you all the way through high school. An A2000 model I would recommend viewing is the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM). That A2000 model has a snugger fit for a player of your age to use effectively.
Ben
Is the leather of this glove cow hide? Or is it pigskin? jcampion
The leather on the Wilson A500 Cano Series: A05RB161075 is cow hide.

My daughter is 6 years old and starting coach pitch this fall. She has a small hand, but needs a longer glove than the 10" glove she has now. What size glove you recommend? zlopez16
This Wilson A500 Cano Series (A05RB161075) will come with a 10.75" length to it and if you are needing something longer than the 10" model she has right now, this could be the model for you. As well, this Cano model has a youth fitting to it that will allow it to fit snugly on a 6 year old player's hand.
Ben
Need size 12.50 or larger. Steven Hubbard
Unfortunately none of the Cano series gloves come in that size. The biggest size for a Cano Series Glove is going to be 11.5".

My little boy will be 8 in January and we are looking for a glove for next season. He will be playing outfield/second base and I am looking for a glove to last a couple of years, he has pretty large hands for his age. Would this glove be suitable? lynn
If you were wanting to get him something that had the ability to last him for a few years, I would look past this Wilson A500 Cano Series (A05RB161075) at the 10.75" length. I might recommend looking to a little longer glove with an 11.25" length to get something that he may be able to grow with as he gets older. Here is a model I would recommend viewing: (Wilson A1K Pro Staff Series Baseball Glove: A1K0SA41788).
Ben
I play short in college. Where can I get this glove in an 11.25" and if not, would the 10.75" be too small for my hand? joshow
As a college player, this Wilson A500 Cano Series (A05RB161075) would not feature the quality needed for proper performance and durability (also 10.75" is much to small for a college player). The closest option to this glove that we would have for a college aged player is the following: 2017 Wilson A2000 Super Skin Robinson Cano 11.5" Baseball Glove (A20RB17RC22GM). That mitt is a little larger than 11.25" at 11.5", but it could definitely be used by a college shortstop.
Ben
I am a 13 year old outfielder looking for a glove that will hold up when I play infield. I might play one or two innings of infield a game, is this the glove for me? Jake
The Wilson A500 Cano Series: A05RB161075 is a youth-fit glove in a 10.75 inch pattern meant for players under 12 years of age. For your age and position I would recommend a 12 inch pattern, therefore this glove would be too small.
Linsey
I am looking for a better fit for my soon to be 8 yr. He has a 11 inch glove now that seems a bit too big and heavy. Would this glove be a big difference? What age range is this size suitable for? Jun
The Wilson A500 Cano Series: A05RB161075 wouldn't be a huge difference as far as glove size, but it would fit your player's hand better since it is designed for young players.
Logan
Would this be a good model for my son who will be starting tee ball next month? He will turn 5 in June. Will the glove require much break in time? I also would like this glove to last past tee ball; good buy? Loso
This A500 model is an excellent choice for beginner players, as it will require almost no break-in period.
Kyle J.
What size is it? juel campos
The Wilson A500 Cano Series: A05RB161075 is a 10.75" glove, featuring a youth fit for younger players.
Logan
Does it fit a ten year old? juel campos
If he/she has small hands, this should be fine as it is designed to fit younger players.
Kyle J.
This glove got some water on it, and a lot of the pocket is wrinkled now. How do you fix that? Chris
A little but of moisture on this Wilson A500 Cano Series (A05RB161075) should not completely damage the mitt. However, if the pocket is wrinkled, I would recommend using the glove as much as possible. Typically, those wrinkles can get worked out of the mitt with extensive use.
Ben
i love it i just am wondering if the i web can break easily or the ball go through the hole nervous
We haven't heard of any issues with the web of the Wilson A500 Cano Series: A05RB161075 breaking or a ball getting through, and the glove would come with a 12 month warranty carried by Wilson directly.
