This 11.50-inch infield glove is made with the top 5 percent of ProStock hides for consistency, and it's the official ball glove of the MLB, so you can trust in its quality. Its SuperSkin construction is half the weight yet twice the strength of traditional leather for lightweight comfort and durability. This fastpitch baseball glove is for players who throw with their right hand and has double-palm construction for pocket stability. It also has three times the shaping to cut down on break-in time, so it's ready to wear right away. Wilson: Peerless in Performance!

This 2019 Wilson A2K SuperSkin baseball glove (WTA2KRB191786SS) has an 11.5-inch opening, a strong H-web construction, sturdy leather laces, and an open back. This A2K baseball glove is Wilson's best-seller for the infield; a master technician spends three times as long pounding and shaping the A2K by hand, resulting in a baseball glove that's short on break-in time. This Wilson A2K baseball glove is crafted with copper and white leather, which makes a stylish contrast against the black SuperSkin material. Have a question about the Wilson A2K SuperSkin 11.50" Baseball Glove: WTA2KRB191786SS? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I am considering this glove for my 11 year old son. However, I am so confused on whether the SuperSkin is a good thing or not? Please help!
The Wilson A2K SuperSkin 11.50" Baseball Glove: WTA2KRB191786SS could be a good option as long as your player has larger hand for the adult model, if he has a bit smaller hands I would go with a Dustin Pedroia Fit. The SuperSkin is a great feature that reduces excess weight and is stronger than leather. This makes a glove feel much lighter and gives the player more mobility.
My son is 14. I am looking for a glove he can use for the next 4-5 years hopefully. I am torn between an 11.25 and 11.50. His main position is 2nd. Pitches and some short. There is not 11.25 in the A2K, but there is one in the A2000. I don't mind spending the money on the A2K, but is it really necessary?
The 11.5" size is more common for that position at that age and older, so I would lean toward an 11.5 inch, especially if he could be pitching as well. The A2K certainly offers a higher end, more quality leather, but the A2000 line isn't too far behind.
Is this glove good for third base?
Yes, depending on the age of the player the Wilson A2K SuperSkin 11.50" Baseball Glove: WTA2KRB191786SS could work at 3rd base.
