Description

Some gloves were just made for greatness. The A2K from Wilson was created with unparalleled craftsmanship, giving players the highest quality glove they'll ever slide on their hand. These gloves were meticulously developed with a focus on durability and a break-in faster than you can imagine. Made from Pro Stock Select Leather, these gloves use only the top 5% of hides and were triple sorted for consistency and flawlessness. This unbelievable consistency in the leather leads to a stronger pocket and an all around higher quality glove. These A2K gloves feature Rolled Dual Welting where strips of Pro Stock Leather are skived thin and rolled to provide long-lasting shape - while still allowing for a quicker break-in. Inside, a thin, strategically cut piece of leather is placed between the palm and outer shell, providing maximum pocket stability and a quicker break-in. This 2x Palm Construction also provides maximum shock resistance. A2K gloves reflect the time that Wilson's craftsmen have put into each glove. These master technicians spend 3x longer pounding and shaping the glove by hand at Wilson's factory - reducing the break-in time for the player. Wilson put everything they had into this glove - and then styled it with their iconic Wilson tan and jet black to celebrate their 99th anniversary. Wilson: More Win! Free Shipping!

What's the difference between the G4 and the A2K 1786 models? John
The Wilson A2K Series and the A2K 1786 are similar models. They both use top of the line pro stock select leather with durable 2x palm construction. However, the Wilson A2K Series does have a cross web and the A2K 1786 series has an I-Web design.
Kara

The A2K Series is made from a higher quality leather that is stiffer and more durable.
Tyler
Im trying to decide between the A2K G4 and the A2K 1786. Can you explain in more detail, the differences, and why I should choose one model over the other. What does cross patten and I web mean? My son is the shortstop on his travel team, and his allstar team. Thanks Ron
We would need to know exactly which A2K 1786 you are referring to. Currently, we do not have any A2K 1786 gloves in stock, but have multiple past models that have slightly different variances. You can either call us at 1-866-321-4568 or email at support@justballgloves.com

Do gloves with this web type tend to pickup more dirt after fielding ground balls than a glove with an I-Web? jaxon
The Wilson A2K Series: A2K0BB3G4 features a Single Post Web that is ideal for Middle Infield. How much dirt it picks up is dependent on how deep you dig for a grounder.
Kevin S.
How long will it take to break in this A2K if I work with it daily? And how stiff will it be when I get it out of the box? mattman
The Wilson A2K Series: A2K0BB3G4 will be a little stiff right out of the box. If you oil it and work with it daily it should be ready in two to three weeks.
Kara
I like this glove and a Nokona Pro Line, which should I buy? lo
Both gloves are amazing, but if had to choose one it would be the Wilson A2K Series. Only the top 5% of hides will become the Pro Stock Leather that becomes a Wilson A2K Series glove.

Is this a good glove for my 12 year old middle infielder? He plays high level travel ball. Evizzy09
The Wilson A2K Series: A2K0BB3G4 is an amazing glove and is made for a middle infielder.

Can my 12 year old son use this? He's small for his age (4' 9"). Evizzy
The Wilson A2K Series: A2K0BB3G4 is intended for an adult hand. If your son's hands are small for his age, you may want to check out a youth model. The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Showcase Series: SC1787SS Youth is a comparable 11.50" model intended for youth hands.
Katie
