Description

Wilson A2K 11.50" Baseball Glove: WTA2KRB201786
Get ready to look and feel like a pro with this infielder's glove from Wilson. This baseball glove is built on Wilson's beloved A2K 1786 design and features Pro Stock leather throughout. New blonde and saddle tan colorways are available with this baseball glove, so you'll be turning double plays in a mitt that truly matches your style. Couple this premium leather with Wilson's classic I-web pocket and you've got a glove that's as reliable as it is good looking.

Glove Benefits
While this glove is built on a classic Wilson design, it also offers some key upgrades. The Pro Stock leathers provide superior durability and consistent grain through the life of the glove. Dual welting down the finger will also maintain your specific hand shape for seasons to come. Wilson reinforced this A2K mitt with a double palm for exceptional pocket stability and to drastically cut down on break-in time. They did so by shaping this mitt three times more than competing mitts during construction. So you'll have this versatile glove worked in to your liking well before the first pitch on opening day.

Wilson gloves do feature a LIMITED twelve (12) month warranty handled through Wilson. The Glove Experts are knowledgeable and will get you the info and materials needed to send the glove to Wilson for a replacement if it is permitted by them.

The Elite of baseball gloves. Jim Johnston Parent

Pros: The best glove for baseball. Great looks. Quality build and leather. Retains shape well after break in.

Cons: Limited colors on available stock.

Pros: None

Cons: Son didn’t like the look of the glove. I agreed kinda cheap looking. Laces seemed to be subpar quality. Not what I would expect for a $360 glove. A2000 in my opinion is just as good for a lot less money. Returned it and will probably get a Rawlings HOH instead.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson A2K 11.50" Baseball Glove: WTA2KRB201786? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Difference between both your A2K leather glove models? They look exactly the same but different model #’s etc. Edward
There is no major difference between the two. This 1786 is a mass produced model, so it has its own model code. The other model you are referencing is a stock of MLB Spring Training models that ended up not being used/kept/purchased by the players, so they offered them to us to sell. They will be basically the same model, though some might have slightly larger/smaller wrist openings depending on who the glove was designed for.

About the Brand

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.

Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
