Description

The A2000 Showcase series carries the spirit of the original A2000, designed with the same game changing experience for players with smaller hands. Now, players of all ages can have a professional quality glove designed to maximize their performance, just like the A2000 professional models do. The A2000 Showcase carries on the Wilson tradition started in 1957 that revolutionized the baseball glove. The technological improvements allowed the glove to act as a true extension of the players hand, making fielders more efficient allowing for a higher level of performance. A2000 Showcase series gloves also offer the new Dri-Lex technology. This Dri-Lex technology is an ultra-breathable wrist lining that transfers moisture away from the skin, keeping your hand cool and dry. A2000 Showcase series gloves also feature the patented Dual Welting system that offers a pre-curved finger design that helps maintain a stable and durable pocket. The Dual Welting technology is a patented design used exclusively by Wilson in the United States. All patterns are endlessly field tested by a select group of top amateur players. The Wilson A2000 series gloves are unmatched in feel and offer consistent performance. Free Shipping.

BASEBALL DAD

Pros: If you're son is a serious outfielder and pitcher, this glove is probably the best you could buy him (11.75 may be a tiny bit long for infield play but can be used). Great for 9-12 years old. A2000 is just awesome quality, awesome performance once broken in. It doesn't get any better for a kids glove.

Cons: Lots of cash for this one. Maybe settle for A1000 or Mizuno GCP series (that one can compete with this one and costs less).

DeBone

Pros: First and foremost, the customer service was excellent. They responded to all of my questions to make sure the glove that I was looking at for my 11 year old would be the right per his pitching and outfield position. The Glove arrived in three days. We started breaking it in and feel that we obtained a quality product that we can use for many years.

Cons: None.

Pros: Just got this glove for my 12 yr old--and it is AWESOME. It is almost ready (break-in) right off the shelf. Best feel when he tried on others at same price tag!

Cons: Nothing yet!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson A2000 Showcase Series: A2000 SCB2 Youth? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Should a 11yr old with small hands use the a1000 showcase glove or can he use the a2000 showcase glove cam
Either glove should work for your player. The only difference in these two gloves is the quality of leather. So, it really just depends on how much you want to spend. If the glove is too big for his hand feel free to send it back. We have a 100 day warranty on all gloves we sell, and you can return it for any reason within those 100 days.

The description of the A2000 SCB2 states that it is designed for the player with a small hand. Does this mean that it is a child's glove. I want an adult size but I like the looks of this glove. Paul
Wilson's Showcase Series are a line of gloves designed to fit a smaller hand. They may not necessarily be specifically for kids, but are more of a transitional type glove made for someone who's not quite ready for a regular size adult glove.

Where is this glove made? SFG 55
This glove is made in Vietnam.

What infield glove is good for a 14 year old high school freshman joe
Since this glove is a youth model, the finger stalls are going to be smaller. You might want to have him look at gloves other than the youth model.
John
Does this glove have super skin feature? How much does it weigh? Also, how much would it be lighter with super-skin? Wei
The Wilson A2000 Showcase Series does not have super skin, however it is very lightweight and easier to break in. There will not be a huge difference in weight between the super skin and the Wilson A2000 Showcase Series.
Kara
My son is 8.5 years old. I want to buy a glove that will last at least 3 years. Will the size accommodate an 8.5 to 11 year old player? Is this glove heavy? Bob
The Wilson A2000 Showcase Series, A2000 SCB2 is a Youth sized glove and will have a smaller hand slot inside to accommodate a smaller hand. The glove will remain the same size but you child will grow so, it really depends on the rate at which your sons hand grows to say whether or not it will fit him when he is 11.
Shelbe
Could you use this glove in the outfield and on 3rd base? huteros
That depends on the age of the player. I recommend our glove coach, it's a great tool: http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-coach/
Tyler
Is the glove good for a competitive 13 year old pitcher? Ben
The Wilson A2000 Showcase Series: A2000 SCB2 is a youth model. Typically, by the age of 13, most players are using regular size gloves. I would recommend the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBB2DB as it's similar in style and quality, but is not a youth model.
