Wilson A2000 PF33 33" Baseball Catcher's Mitt: WBW10016233
Outfit your budding superstar catcher with one of the best mitts around: an A2000 from Wilson.
Glove Benefits
This glove has been built with a smaller hand in mind. We believe that it has the potential to work for players aged 10 years old, all the way up to adults with smaller hands. Even with the really tight fit, it is designed with a velcro wrist strap that allows for more tightening or loosening as needed.
This glove is made with really excellent leather as it has the Pro Stock leather from Wilson. With that awesome leather and a catcher's design, it will be a little stiff. However, if you put in the time to get it game-ready, it will be an awesome on-field companion that should last for years.
Warranty
Wilson A2000s come with a LIMITED twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty period. The warranty does NOT cover regular wear and tear, fading of colors, misuse or rips/cuts/tears. If you feel that you have a warranty situation and you purchased this glove from JustGloves, please reach out to our Glove Experts. They will provide the info needed to get in contact with Wilson and arrange the warranty replacement.
Pros: Attractive color scheme, sleek design, deep pocket, easy to break in (Aso style), material makes ball stick in glove, snug fit for kids with small hands
Cons: DP fit feels like hand will outgrow glove too soon

How do you break in this glove?

The Wilson A2000 PF33 33" Baseball Catcher's Mitt: WBW10016233 will take some time to break in. Best way to accomplish this would be to play as much catch with it as possible. When not playing catch with the mitt, use a mallet to work on softening up the leather shell.

My son is 9 years old and has been using a Mizuno Prospect GXC105 Youth 32.5" Catcher's Mitt for the past 1.5 yrs and I am wanting to get him a better mitt. I am undecided on which mitt to get. I am struggling between the A2000 PF and the CM3000BTJR. I like the A2000 PF mitt, but I'm concerned about it being too big for his hand and I'm concerned about the CM3000BTJR because it is 31.5" which is 1" smaller than what he is currently using. He is 4'8" and 98 lbs. Which mitt would you recommend? It is hard buying a mitt when my son cannot try it on so any help will be very much appreciated.
David
For a 9 year old catcher, we would recommend a mitt around 31.00-31.50 inches. In our opinion, even though the Wilson A2000 PF33 33" Baseball Catcher's Mitt: WBW10016233 is a great mitt for someone with a smaller hand, it would be too big for a 9 year old. We would recommend going no larger than 32.00 inches on a mitt at this time.

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
Yes, JustGloves.com will price match a competitor's listed price!
To do so, we verify some information. If you see an item listed at a lower price elsewhere, this is all we require:
We must verify that the website you want to price match is legitimate and an authorized dealer of the products they sell.
We must confirm that the competitor has the same size and product in stock and ready to ship. If the same size and product is out of stock on the competitor's website, we are unable to match their price.
We must confirm if the competitor charges sales tax and/or shipping fees since these are added to the final price of the product.
Lastly, our Glove Experts must check on the cost we pay to stock the item from the manufacturer. The price match must cover that manufacturer cost for the item.
We have the final decision for matching an online price.
Did you purchase a product from us, but noticed that it is now at a lower price? Please let us know, and we will honor our lowest price within the past 30 days by issuing a refund for the price difference or adjusting the price for you over the phone.

JustGloves Trusted Glove Prep Service

We Prep - You Break In - Then Break Out
You spoke and we listened. Introducing JustGloves Trusted Glove Prep! Now, you can choose for us to soften your new glove for a quicker break-in process. We will not be fully breaking in the glove, but instead using a series of mindful actions specifically geared to your exact glove. As a result, the leather will arrive more supple and allow for a much easier break-in process upon arrival.
The Process
Condition
Our team of glove experts begin the prepping process by applying a thin layer of specialized glove conditioner to the outside of your glove. The conditioner activates your glove’s leather by opening the pores. It also serves to protect the integrity of the leather throughout the steaming process.
Steam
With care, your glove is then placed into a manufacturer-approved steaming chamber and monitored closely. Through the combination of heat, steam, and conditioner, the leather will begin to loosen within a few minutes. Following the steaming process, we re-apply a thin layer of glove conditioner to your glove. Beyond additional protection, this second coating of conditioner allows our glove experts to work with a softer, more malleable leather.
Mallet
The final step in our glove prepping process takes advantage of the wooden mallet. With a couple mindful swings of the mallet, our glove experts are able to minimize your glove’s critical sticking points to allow for a much swifter break-in period on your end.

Re-Treat Your Glove as Needed
Softens Leather for a Better Feel
DIRECTIONS:
(1) - First remove any existing dirt by wiping the glove with a clean, dry cloth. (2) - When clean, rub a small amount of conditioner into the leather with hands or clean cloth. (3) - Work it into the web, palm, laces, inside of the glove, & any other area that has become dry or is starting to crack. (4) - When finished, place your glove in a warm, dry area (70 - 90 F) & allow the leather to absorb the conditioner for 24 hrs. (5) - Re-treat your glove when you notice the leather is starting to dry out. Prior to the off-season, apply a light coat of conditioner to keep the leather from becoming brittle.
Note: Excessive glove conditioner/oil can damage or shorten the life of a new glove. Use it sparingly.
