Great glove! J Coach
Pros: Same pattern as the A2000 at a much lower cost. Ideal for serious travel players 11U and older. Broke in absolutely perfect! Stiff enough to perform at a higher level of play yet easy enough for a 10-11 year old to break in w/o much trouble.
Cons: Absolutely zero cons for the cost! Borderline pro level glove for less than half the price.
Awesome glove Schmitt Parent
Pros: Two of my boys bought this glove. It is such a great glove!! Highly recommend!!

My daughter currently plays 10U travel fastpitch. She plays SS/3B and pitches using the Rawlings R9 Series 11.75 R9205-4BSG but sadly that glove is starting to break down after a year plus of near constant use. She likes both the Rawlings Heart of the Hide R2G 11.75 PROR205-4BC and the Wilson A1000 11.75 WTA10RB191787. With the obvious difference of cost, how would these gloves compare in terms of fit, pocket depth/shape and durability? Matt

My sons coach told him to break it in playing catch. If he uses it a few hours every day to practice - how long should it take to break in? Weeks? Months? (I'm asking because his current glove is falling apart.) TRACY ISHII
Do the a1000 fit the same as a2000? Larry
Would this glove fit an XL adult hand? My palm width is approximately 4 inches (from index finger to little finger). The Pedroia models would be too small in terms of wrist opening. Tony Wilson

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company.
