Cameron - thank you for your previous thorough answer. So the A1000 sounds like a better glove for the 9 year old in question. How does it compare to an R2G from Rawlings? The R2G is marketed as a game ready, more broken in glove. The A1000 I handled a few months ago felt very stiff and not game ready. (Price non-withstanding of course) Is the R2G too much glove / overkill for a 9 yo? BC

My son is 13 and is small and is a middle infielder. Would his hand fit the same in the A1000 11.25" Pedroia as it would in the A2000 11.25" Pedroia? The A1000 is referred to as a youth model, whereas the A2000 is not. I'm concerned that the A2000 might be more for normal sized high school players/adults.
