Description
Shoeless Joe Gloves (1300FPBW) give players the quality, feel and style of the gloves worn by professional ball players over the last 100 years. You can choose glove models worn in the first half of century in the Golden Age Series, today's models in the Professional Model Series, youth gloves with the Joe Junior Series, or fastpitch softball gloves with the Shoeless Jane Series. Shoeless Joe gloves are individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. Shoeless Joe gloves are then hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through their breaking in process that leaves the glove with a beaten up and "Game Worn" look and feel, of a broken in glove. Thus each glove is unstructured giving it its own unique features. Players can choose to play with an old time or modern day web without having to change to another model. A great play is lived only once, but your glove, you'll keep it forever. If you end a game with a clean uniform our gloves are not for you. Shoeless Joe: When It Was Just a Game. Free Shipping!

Pros: After reading the reviews on these gloves I seen a lot of people saying that the gloves were sized smaller than they were. So I bought this glove for my small 10 year old daughter thinking it would be to big and I'd have to send it back. It's still here. She plays outfield in both LL and travel ball and catches everything hit her way. BUY THESE GLOVES!! I now own 3..a left handed 12.5 for my 7 year old, a catchers mitt, and this one for my daughter. I'd buy another one tomorrow if they cost $500 a piece.
Cons: The 12.5 took like 3 days to break in, but this one and the catchers mitt were game ready out of the box.

Pros: Leather is super soft right out of the bag. Good size "basket" to catch a ball with. Comfortable fit. Great Looking Glove. Our girls are in OTA's right now and after only a few practices this glove is in game shape. This is the first "real" glove I have bought for my daughter and I am pleased with the purchase. Make sure to check out the Shoeless Joe/Jane website because you can have this glove reconditioned for a very small fee if necessary over the life of the glove. If you are new to owning a nice glove (like we were), make sure to youtube how to care for a glove...it's made all the difference so far.
Cons: Finger wells are a bit large for a young player.
ROSIE
Pros: CAME PRETTY MUCH BROKEN IN PUT A LITTLE OIL WITH BALL AND RUBBER BAND 14 YR OLD DAUGHTER LOVES IT RIGHT SIZE I THINK IT WILL TAKE HER THRU HIGH SCHOOL
Cons: NONE
shoeless jane 13 inch fielder misty parent
Pros: this glove is amazing! my daughter needed very little time to break it in. very high quality
Cons: nothing bad to say
Southpaw
Pros: The search is over! My daughter liked the Wilson Monstaweb, but they quit making it in 13", plus she was wearing them out too frequently practicing her pitching. This glove has the broken in feel and large pocket she loves. High quality for the price. I paid twice as much for gloves she didn't like.
Cons:
Craig
Pros: Great glove. Big pocket, well made. Good padding in the pocket area. Easy to break in
Cons:
grandad
Pros: just as described. good glove.
Cons: strong odor. had to air the glove outside.
PITCHER 17
Pros: LONG LASTING AND DURABLE
Cons: THE THUMB AND PINKY FINGER ARE ENTIRELY TOO STIFF AND I AM HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING IT BROKEN IN FOR MY 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER
Macsgian
Pros: I bought this glove for my 12 year old. She is on tournament teams as well as a pick up player. She will play as many as 7 games in a day so the glove gets very heavy use, plus practices daily during the week. She is small in size for her age and break-in was difficult due to her small hand size. Now, she rules the outfield...her coach (former UCLA player) told her she was the best glove on the team. Good, deep pocket, a large mitt so difficult catches are easier. You won't regret buying a Shoeless..ever.
Cons: Very large mitt for a smaller person. I thought break-in took some time. Storage care is important with this mitt. Highly recommend always storing with a Ball in it and/or tying the mitt between use. For the first 4 months I had her sit on the glove during travel to and from practice and tournaments. Work the glove between use with a glove mallet for the first few months, especially heal area and pocket.
Strikeball
Pros: good to go when it arrives
Cons: wears out VERY fast. Had to replace in less than a year

Cons: none
Softball Dad
Pros: Was great for about a year. Was broke in and ready to go out of the box.
Cons: After a year it is floppy and my daughter cannot seem to keep ahold of the ball, for 170 dollar glove I would expect it to hold up a lot longer.
Nice glove, good value CAA Parent
Pros: Glove was close to broken in. Few days with a band/ softballs in basket and good to go. Glove purchased for 14u pitcher.
Cons: My daughters hands turn orange after few hours practice.
Great glove Coach
Pros: Huge mit when opened up for ground balls. An it traps pop flies like crazy my daughter hasn't dropped a single one in outfield an eats in up in the infield as well. Once you start working it gets super soft. The tobacco smoked leather smells like an old school glove an last.
Cons: I had to trim the pinky leather to stop pinching. But once I got it trimmed an smoothed up it never did it again on my hand my daughter says it hasn't bothered her.

My daughter just turned 12. She will start her 3rd year of Travelling softball in the Spring. She is a starting catcher and normally plays short when not catching. This year the coach wants her speed in center field when she's not catching. She is moving up to the 12" ball this year. She is rather small for her age, 4' 10" and 80 lbs. is the 13" glove too large for her? She has used an 11.5" utility glove to play short for the past two years. Seems too small for the outfield and larger ball. GI Raider
