Shoeless Joe Joe Junior 10" Youth Baseball Glove: 1000JRIW
Shoeless Joe Gloves give a player the quality, feel, and style of the gloves used by professional ball players over the last 100 years. You can choose glove models used in the first half of century in the Golden Age Series, today's models in the Professional Model Series, or youth gloves with the Joe Junior Series.
Glove Benefits
Shoeless Joe gloves are individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. Shoeless Joe gloves are then hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through their breaking in process that leaves the glove with a beaten up and "Game Worn" look and feel, of a broken in glove. Thus each glove is unstructured giving it its own unique features. Players can choose to play with an old time or modern day web without having to change to another model. A great play is lived only once, but your glove, you'll keep it forever. If you end a game with a clean uniform our gloves are not for you. Shoeless Joe: When It Was Just a Game. Free Shipping!

the opening of glove is too big saul paz Parent
Pros: the leather is awesome, easy to break in
Cons: the opening of the glove where the hand goes in, is way to big for my 7 year old the glove fall off every time they throw the ball, has a very difficult time catching, he has to wear his batting gloves to help him catch and even then the glove falls off.
Great Youth Glove Jeremy Snow Parent
Pros: Great feel, it’s ready to go right out of the bag, Top quality leather and padding, I would highly recommend for beginners, Easy to catch balls.
Cons: I think it’s a tad bit small for my 10 year old but he loves it and does great. Would like larger gloves for some older youth kids
To big Bill Fulton Coach
Pros: Great quality. Easy break in.
Cons: Glove size is good. The inside of the glove is to big for a 6-8 year olds hand. Keeps falling off my 7-8 year olds hand. And he is the tallest kid in his class. I bought this glove for him when he was 6, and he is now eight and he went to try the glove on again and it's still to big.
Excellent Zach Parent
Pros: Fits well Good quality Fast shipping Durable
Cons: None

Pros: Awesome glove. My son is 6 and loves it.
Cons:
JKF
Pros: This is a fantastic glove. This glove is truly game ready. Very well made and seems like it should last through several more kids.
Cons: The glove is heavy because of the quality of the materials used. The hand fit is a little large for my 4 year old.
Best decision you could make for your 4-6 year old CW parent
Pros: Amazing glove, real old time baseball, light for him to use, broke it perfect, a bit flimsy but no complaints. Id do this over again for sure. The first glove had better and deeper dark coloring. The second glove had the light brown i dont like as well. So far Iv purchased one for each boy as their first mitt, and got myself a catcher mitt and just ordered a 12.50 professional IWEb.
Cons: outgrew too quickly. My oldest was very advanced so, he moved up quickly to older leagues and i think at that point at 7 playing with 8-10 he needed a stronger glove playing first and pitching. We got 2 great seasons out of it.
better than expected PB parent
Pros: pure quality. my son loves it; has this glove on way too much honestly. the smell of this glove is worth 10 times the price by the way.
Cons: none
EH
Pros: Excellent quality glove for a youth player. My 6 year old son has been able to use this glove with no issues regarding the size. Great glove for a young player that is looking to begin competitive play. Spend a little extra money and get a better quality glove, it is well worth the investment.
Cons: This glove takes a little while to break in correctly. The leather is a much higher quality and softer leather, but the heel of the glove takes some time to open up easily for a youth player. Once you get the leather to soften and close easily, the glove is an excellent choice for a youth glove.

Pros: Really like this glove for a young player wanting to transition into competitive ball. Great fit on smaller hand and high quality feel. Small size promotes proper technique.
Cons: Went through several cheap starter gloves before I found this one.
TW
Pros: My 6 year old has been using this glove since he was 4. He has been able to easily open and close the glove since day one and it has only gotten better with each season.
Cons: None
CT
Pros: The quality of the glove is outstanding. The glove is well constructed and the leather is very soft.
Cons: The inside of the glove is a little too large for my 7 yr old son. He needs to where a batting glove in order to get a snugger fit. Not a con but more of a downside for smaller kids given that this is a youth glove.
TC
Pros: High quality glove that was already broken in to be used by a young player. My seven year old is able to catch much better with it than he was with a less expensive glove that he could not open and close easily. Great glove for a competitive young player.
Cons: None.

Can you please tell me how much this glove weighs? It seems like the higher quality full leather gloves weigh more than the synthetic. I was looking at the Nokona 10.5' youth glove but it weighs about 450g or almost 1 pound and I"m afraid that my soon to be 7 year old soon will find it too heavy to handle as that"s almost twice the weight of a Mizuno Prospect that size.
