Pros: nothing

Cons: palm padding is nothing. finger stalls are too wide and shapeless. balls flies out yr mitt when you catch the ball. months. to slightly break in. absolutely not worth the money. heavy. for the price and time to break in this glove is way to heavy and shapeless and has too little padding for the price. you pay for the name brand and leather not a good baseball glove. i totally take back my review down below. you dont even get the mitt pictured above!!!!! you get a "newer version" which is nothing like the reviews my other people. save yr money and buy a rawliing or wilson. end of storu

Pros: Holds shape perfectly, breaks in in all the right spots so that it doesn't deform but it still opens and closes easily, not too soft like rawlings pro preferred, fits like it was custom made, great color, not too heavy, nice wide palm creates a big opening, feels really solid

Cons: it took months of use and conditioning to get it to really break in and become easy to use

Pros: Great glove. It has the right amount of stiffness where it flop like other gloves. Break-in will take some time, but not much. Best glove on the market, in my opinion.

Cons: Glove runs a little small. No way is this a 12 inch glove.

Pros: This is the best fitting glove I have ever tried on. It feels like a custom fit to your hand. The leather is superb. It is the perfect balance of softness and stiffness. There is just enough padding in the finger area to protect and cushion without losing any feel for the ball. In my opinion this Nokona Bloodline glove has a better feel for the ball than a Heart of the Hide and better protection than an A2000. Most important of all, this glove is Made in USA. Nokona is the real baseball glove for real Americans.

Cons: N/A

Pros: Fantastic feel, breaks in very easily. Perfect combination of rigidity and flexibility. Leather is top top top shelf. Aesthetics are also very nice, although I'm not a huge fan of the new Nokona logo. Overall, easily the best ballglove I have ever owned of any brand.

Cons: It is a pricey model, but a great investment for those who love their gloves and plan to keep them for several years.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Nokona Bloodline Series: BL1200C (AMG1200BLCW)? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Where can I find your Heart series glove and what does it retail for? Al
If you are referring to the Heart of the Hide Series gloves, they are made by Rawlings and retail around $200. Just type "heart of the hide" in the search box at the top of the webpage and click "search".
John
is this glove heavy or light because my friend has it and its extermely heavy? atlboy
I would say it is neither heavy or light, but average (maybe slightly above average) in weight. It is made with a high quality leather, and if you use more than the recommended amount of glove oil when breaking the glove in, it will cause the glove to weigh a bit more.
JH
Stiff out of the box, can barely squeeze my hand to close the mit, will that change? Also i bought the "justballgloves care kit" will that also help? -Steve steve
The Bloodline Series are very high-quality gloves that are pretty stiff out of the box. The stiffer a glove is, the higher the quality it typically is. Repetition is key...and can't be stressed enough. The more you work with it, the better it will break-in. It will get softer, but it will also maintain it's shape very well. If you go to our website, there is a "Glove Resource Guide" at the top of the page. If you click this link you'll find a glove break in video that will show you how to break in a glove and utilize our glove care kit.
John
Do the gloves really run small James
Yes, Nokona gloves run small. They run anywhere between .25" to .50" smaller than other gloves.
Kara
I am 5 feet 1 inch 100 lb I have good size hands what size of Nokona bloodline should I get James
That is really going to depend on the position you play. An outfielder in your size would usually use around a 12" glove and an infielder would use around an 11.50" glove
Sean
Would this be a good glove for fastpitch softball playing third and short stop? Nat
Yes. This glove is made of high quality leather and will be a durable mitt.
KG
would this be a good glove for both outfield and infield? If not, what nokona glove is? Eli
Yes, this model would would work fine for a utility style player. I would say a 12"-12 1/2" size would work well for both infield and outfield.
Nick
I'm 15 and play both infield and outfield. Since nokona's run small, would this glove be too small for outfield? Eli
This glove will not be too small for outfield
John
My friends like to form their gloves with flared out ends for a wider catching space. Would that be ok to do with this glove or would it be better to just let it form by itself? Rmj
Feel free to form the glove to your personal preference. Forming as you like won't effect the integrity of the glove or anything.
Tyler
I play shortstop in slowpitch softball and would like to know if this glove would work for me or if I should look at the 12.75? I have been using the 11.75 Bloodline and I could use a little more glove. Ryan
All the infielders I play with in slow pitch softball use a 12.75" or 13" model. I would strongly recommend moving up to a 12.75" model.
