Description
Due to popular demand, Nokona is bringing back one of its most recognizable series: Banana Tan! Its supple yet sturdy cowhide was first developed by Nokona in the 1970's. Now, a new generation can enjoy the soft yet sturdy feel and quicker break-in period of the Banana Tan Fastpitch Series. Made with a new deep-pocket and Nolera Composite Padding, this glove is sure to impress today's best players. Nolera Composite Padding provides improved playability and makes for a glove lighter. And if that wasn't enough, Nokona incorporated their enhanced Ristankor Closure System. Originally developed in the 1950's, the Ristankor is now made with Velcro to secure the hand in the glove while allowing for an easier break-in. The new Banana Tan Fastpitch Series is the perfect combination of the traditional Nokona look and feel, with improved design and new technology to meet the demands of today's top players. With a closed web and closed back, this 12.50 inch pattern is ideal for infielders and outfielders. Now we know what a good glove is Jerry Weber Parent
Pros: Great feel Real leather Proud that it’s American made
Cons: Not buying it quicker
Great Glove Doug R. Coach
Pros: Purchased the banana tan fast pitch glove for my 11yo daughter. The glove DEFINITELY needed breaking in. I put the Nakona glove conditioner on the glove, worked it for a couple days then had it steamed and stored it with a ball wrapped in it. After 3-4 days the glove is in nearly perfect playing condition. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: Have to put some work in to loosen it up.
excellent glove Ben S. parent
Pros: My daughter loved the glove... it does need to some time to nreak in but not bad at all. Very good quality glove. We will definitely buy others.
Cons: None... we are very pleased with the glove.

Pros: Purchased this glove for my 12 year old daughter. I had purchased an A2000, but the leather was just too heavy for her. The goal is to be able to use this glove for a while (maybe restring along the way) The glove required very little break in time. We immediately just started throwing. I did rubber band the glove with a 12in ball inside daily. The glove required no steam, oil, etc. This glove is is really good for all positions. The web is deep, but not too deep that when playing the infield it does not allow for a quick release. On the reverse, it provides enough depth when playing the outfield. We are very pleased with this glove.
Cons: I would have liked to see a little more length on the wrist strap.

Pros: Good quality leather, well made glove Made in the USA Purchased this glove for our daughter, a 13U travel and rec player. Her comments are below... - Fits hand well after 2 weeks of owning and a few times playing catch. (and 1 round of Nokona leather conditioner) - A little stiff initially but was not excessive. Was able to use right away - easily moldable
Cons: -A little big on her hand initially out of the box (had to use the strap to tighten it down on her wrist) - Price (but well worth it)

Pros: still new but seems like a very durable glove. 12yr old daughter loves it
Cons: still breaking it in, but i am not using much conditioner because i don't want to break down the glove early.
Sawyer K
Pros: I am in love with this glove. It is fantastic! Out of the box, I put some glove conditioner on it, when and had a catch and it was great. After throwing only 2 or 3 times the glove is practically broken in. The pocket is great. Awesome for higher level players looking for a nice glove. It is lightweight and conforms to your hand super easily. I would defiantly recommend this glove for anyone looking for a great, easy to break in glove.
