Pros: Great leather and construction at a great price. I'd say it's probably the highest quality first base glove under $100.

Cons: My only complaint is that the thumb slot is really tight. I have small hands/skinny fingers and it is still somewhat uncomfortable after prolonged use. I can't imagine someone with larger hands using it comfortably.

Pros: Quick Break In. Comfortable to wear. Son is using it for travel with no problems. Mizuno catchers glove broke in just as fast and very comfortable. Sold us on Mizuno!

Cons: Finger laces (tie on the outside) tend to become undone no matter how tight or many times its tied. Once it comes out, time consuming to get back in.

Pros: Great Value. I bought this for a 13 year old player. It breaks in easy and feels very high quality, especially for the price.

Cons: It could have more padding around the thumb area. Also the thumb hole might be too small for some big handed people.

Pros: Bought this glove for my daughter for fast pitch softball and her high school team. She loves it and said it is the best glove she has ever owned.

Cons: The hand size was a little big for her and she has to use a batting glove while wearing the glove. only improvement maybe have an adjustable hand size. I re-laced it to tighten it up. But glove is well worth the money.

Pros: This review is of the company...1st class service. Replaced defective glove even though was only a defective lace, told us to keep it. Customer for life (but will still return original).

Cons: Original review should be a 4 star as defective lace doesn't make a bad glove, but can't edit.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Mizuno World Win Series: GXF75 First Base Baseball Mitt? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

is this glove good right out of the box because i have tryouts soon and not enough time to break it in homerunner
This glove will be game ready right out of the box. It will obviously feel better and break-in better the more you use it, but it will be good to play with from day one.
Sean
Would you describe this as a smaller full size glove? I have a large 12 year old and would like a glove that he could move up with. Hangtime
The World Win gloves by Mizuno do fit a little smaller than your average adult size glove. This would be an excellent choice for a player who isn't quite ready for a full-size adult glove.
Brett
I have an 11 year old lefty. What 1st baseman glove would you suggest. Jarman
The most common size first base mitt for 11 and 12 year olds is 12 inches. A few of the top sellers we have in that size are the Wilson A2800 PSB, Akadema ADJ154 and Rawlings GGTML. At 12.5 inches, the GXF75 may be a tad too big for him now, but it would definitely provide plenty of room for him to grow into over the next several seasons.
Brett
is there any laces that come undone terese
The only laces that may come undone are those on the web, but that'd due to more usage.
Kris
Im a 12 year old first basemen with pretty big hands, and ive been debating whether to get a 12.5 or a 13. What do you recommend? Big Sexy
I would recommend a 12.50 inch glove. It is recommended for your age range that you use a 12.00-12.25 inch glove.
Brett
Is this a good glove for an 11 year old that is 5'2" and 145lbs? dkwl
Yes, this is a very good glove for that player
Sean
Can you use this glove also to pitch or do you need another just regular glove. Chele
This is only a first base glove. You will have to get another glove for pitching.
KG
My son is 15 years old and 6' 1", 9th grade. is this glove to small for him? Buck
We recommend 12.50 to a 12.75 glove for a 15 year old.
KB
Would this glove be good for a 9 yr old? Ed
We recommend a 12.00 inch glove in a youth model for his age. The GXF75 is an adult glove and will be too big.
KB
Is this a good glove for a high school varsity baseball? jack
The GXF75 would be a very suitable option for a High School first baseman.
Tyler
Would this be a good glove for a first time first baseman? monkey13
The Mizuno World Win Series: GXF75 First Base Mitt is made with softer leather that is very easy to break-in. Size depends on your age. I recommend our glove coach. It's a great tool: http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-coach/
Tyler
My son will be 13yrs old next Februrary and is 5'5" 130lbs. He will be playing Babe Ruth baseball next spring. Would this glove and size be a proper fit for him? Mac

Kara
How is this glove different than the GXF92? StormBaseball
The Mizuno World Win Series: GXF75 First Base Mitt has an open back with a standard wrist strap. The Mizuno Franchise Series: GXF92 First Base Mitt has a closed back with a Velcro wrist strap. Both feature full grain, game ready leather. Both have the same quality padding and both are 12.5" models.
Tyler
I'm looking for a 12.75 size (my son has big hands). What would you recommend for a left handed first base man? Buck
I would recommend the Easton Natural Elite Series: NEB3 First Base Mitt, and the Easton Rival Series: RVB3000 First Base Mitt
Zach
What size glove for a 16 year old 6' tall 160 pound first baseman? Tim
The Mizuno World Win Series: GXF75 First Base Mitt should be a great fit for you.
Chad M.
Will this be a good size glove for me? I'm an eighth grader and I'm 13 years old. josh
The Mizuno World Win Series: GXF75 First Base Mitt will be a 12.50" size. The average 13 year old size is a 12" mitt. This mitt would still be an excellent choice.
Brandon
I play in a 35+ league. I'm 6'4" with an XL hands. would you recommend this glove for me? Allen
The Mizuno World Win Series (GXF75) First Base Mitt is a good glove but I would recommend a 12.75"-13.00 model for your size.
Damon
Would this glove work for a woman's hand? Kelsey
This Mizuno World Win Series (GXF75) First Base Mitt could be a good option and provide a good fit on a woman's hand. But it will not offer the smaller hand opening and tighter finger stalls that a Fastpitch design would. If you're interested in this mitt, please take advantage of our 100 Day Guarantee and free UPS shipping label if it doesn't work out: https://www.justballgloves.com/returns/
Mac
How long does it take for an order to ship and receive? Sam
Orders placed before 8pm central time will ship out the same day. Depending on your area you would see the Mizuno World Win Series (GXF75) First Base Mitt anywhere from 1-5 business days.

I have large hands and am 5'10", 150 lbs. Is this glove the right size for me? jac
The Mizuno World Win Series (GXF75) First Base Mitt features and adult size 12.50" pattern and is a great option for a player of your size.
Jason
Is it a quick beak in time? david
The Retro Leather in the Mizuno World Win Series (GXF75) First Base Mitt will not take much effort at all to get game ready.
Mac
Would you recommend this glove for girls fastpitch softball? gibb66
The Mizuno World Win Series (GXF75) First Base Mitt is designed for baseball and is not a great option for fastpitch softball. A better option to consider is the Louisville Slugger Xeno Series (FGXN14-BKFBM) Fastpitch First Base Mitt.
Jason
What would you recommend for a 6'3 260 pounder? I am first base and have big hands. Jacob
The Mizuno World Win Series (GXF75) First Base Mitt would work for you and the size of the glove really comes down to player preference. However, most first baseman your size are using a bigger 12.75" pattern or a 13" pattern.
Jason
I play in a competitive men's league. I am 6 foot 1, and weigh 210 pounds. Is this glove a right fit? I am used to a smaller 3rd base or short stop glove. Kgun
The Mizuno World Win Series (GXF75) would be a typical size for play at first base. The pocket size for a first base mitt ultimately comes down to preference. This size is what some like while others may like a longer 13 inch model.
Patrick
Is this a good glove for a high school player? Absawyer22
Yes, the Mizuno World Win Series (GXF75 First Base Mitt) would be a good fit for a high school player.
Frankie
My son is 12 years old and 5'2" and 140 lbs. Is this a good glove for him? Or should he use a 12.5"? mich
Based on your son's age, we would recommend getting a first base mitt in a 12.00 inch to 12.25 inch pattern. The Mizuno World Win Series: GXF75 First Base Mitt is a 12.50 inch pattern and could certainly be used as well but could possibly be a little large; might take some time to "grow into."
Cameron
Is this glove leather flimsy or is it nice and firm like a real glove should be? Please answer! highschoolplayer
The Mizuno World Win Series: GXF75 First Base Mitt will not be flimsy but it will be more supple and game ready due to the retro leather shell. This glove, over time, could become "flimsy" as the retro leather shell may not hold it shape as long as other models that will feature a higher cut of leather.
Cameron
I am 13 years old. Is this a good glove size? Brick101
For a 13 year old first baseman, the 12.50" length and fitting of this Mizuno World Win Series (GXF75 First Base Mitt) should work well for use.
Ben
I am 13 and about 5'7". Is this a good glove size? Brick101
The Mizuno World Win Series: GXF75 First Base Mitt has a 12.50" pattern and it would be a good fit for a 13 year old player.
Jason
Is this glove for college players? g baseball
The Mizuno World Win Series: GXF75 First Base Mitt features an adult fit and it will work for college players.
Jason

Logan

Kyle J.
Can this glove be used for first base in softball? kim
We would not recommend using a baseball glove for softball since it will not be designed to catch the larger ball.
