Think you know top of the line gloves? Think again. Mizuno is proud to introduce THE HIGHEST QUALITY baseball gloves to ever hit the market, the Pro Limited Edition Series. Don't let the price of these gloves scare you, because they're worth every penny. For the Pro Limited Edition Series, Mizuno uses Deguchi Kip Leather that is soft, supple, strong, and ready to impress. This leather is characterized by having tighter fibers and has been through a proprietary tanning process that perfectly conditions the leather so that it is stronger than any Mizuno ever created. When you slip this glove on to your hand, you'll immediately notice a sensation of softness and comfort that is provided by the Shika Palm Liner - an elite deerskin palm liner that provides the ultimate feel. Mizuno also introduces a new technology called Speed Drive with the release of the Pro Limited Edition Series. Speed Drive Technology perfectly balances each glove based on where it will be used in the field to provide players the fastest reaction time and best response possible. This is achieved through lighter thumb, pinky, and heel construction while reinforcing the index, middle, and ring fingers. It is truly genius craftsmanship. Each glove is impressed with a Limited Edition stamp that is adorned with the name of the master craftsman that designed your glove. Mizuno stands behind this glove as one of the greatest to ever hit the field, and that's why they are offering an off-season conditioning program with every GMP600AX purchased in NEW condition (Gloves sold as USED will not qualify for the program). This one-time repair and reconditioning of your Pro Limited Edition glove will return it to its original glory and get you back on the diamond! It just doesn't get any better than this. Questions and Answers (3)

Have a question about the Mizuno Pro Limited Edition Series: GMP600AX? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

What is Axiom Cut?
Axiom Cut refers to the pattern of the Mizuno Pro Limited Edition Series (GMP600AX) which is a middle infield specific pattern that create a centralized pocket for easier fielding and quick transition.
What would you say is the exact difference between the (600AX) and the (600)? If I play Short, does that mean I should get the (600AX)?
This Mizuno Pro Limited Edition Series (GMP600AX) is the newest iteration of this Series and features the Axiom Cut, while the (GMP600) does not. Both would be great options for an infielder, but the Axiom Cut helps create a more-centralized pocket for easier fielding and a quicker transfer to your throwing hand. You really couldn't go wrong with either version.
In grams, how does this glove compare to the Mizuno GGE61VAX, the Rawlings PROS202B and the Rawlings PRO202WW? What will the break-in times be for these gloves?
Break-in time is impossible to predict given the many different ways it can be done and the amount of effort the customer puts in plays a factor. In general the Rawlings Heart Of The Hide Custom Color Series (PRO202WW) should be the easiest to break-in followed by the Mizuno Global Elite VOP Series (GGE61VAX), then the Rawlings Pro Preferred Series (PROS202B), then the Mizuno Pro Limited Edition Series (GMP600AX). That would also actually be the order from lightest to heaviest as well. We do not list the weight of the gloves specifically because it can very from glove to glove due to different hide thickness, amount of lacing, and oil content in the glove.
