In addition to the great leather, Mizuno has worked in their Center Pocket Design to the glove. They explain that it should set the pocket "under the index finger for the most versatile break-in possible". Overall, we believe that the glove will create a spot right around the index finger and thumb that the player will be able to catch the baseball with comfort.
With a closed web and 12-inch length, this glove is going to be ideal for pitchers. The combination of the length and web will make it ideal for preventing pitchers from seeing the movement of your wrist or fingers as you grip a pitch. Also, this glove should function well on the left side of the infield if you enjoy the look of the glove at those positions.
