Cons: None..
Not Even Close To being Soft! Coach Coach
Pros: Glove looks really nice! that is about it
Cons: This Glove is NOT even close to being soft as stated which is just under being game ready. it stated that it is double oiled, well there was a pile of an oil mark right in the center of the palm....We have had this glove conditioned at first as usual then after trying aggressively to break it in we had to have it steamed again, oiled and professionally conditioned. this glove will NOT break in. stay away from this glove if you want to use it within a few weeks or even months possibly years. we have played softball with this glove 4 days a week with practice and games for 2 months straight along with working it after hours. (14U A team softball) .....i gave up on it and bought a different brand. my loss.. do not make the same mistake i did. most gloves are ready within the first few weeks. not this one. find another option trust me.
Great glove for 14U Doug Hudson Parent
Pros: Quality, comfort, durability. Got for my daughter, left handed 13 YO. Took a few days to break in, as expected for a higher quality leather glove. Rate it up there with my oldest son's HoH and other sons SSK. Great glove!
Cons: None
Great glove Dad Parent
Pros: Good leather, good design and feels good on the hand per my daughters comments. It takes a bit to break in but all great gloves do. Became the favorite over her A2000. It is durable.
Cons: The grey fades over a season but other than having to tighten the laces every so often it held up to the abuse of 18U school ball, summer travel and fall ball as well as indoor practice throughout the winter.
A Solid Choice Peter Other
Pros: I got this for my wife so she could play catch. She likes the colorway and the glove fits her hand well. Is very affordable and a good option for almost any skill level for girls/women, or boys with smaller hands.
Cons: There are a few cons, but they are small and not enough to really take away from the glove. The pocket is a bit narrower than I expected, and the laces on the fingers are cut too short for me to loosen them up enough to make a difference. The glove also does require a little break-in (which I prefer) but some people might expect the glove to be game ready out of the box (it wasn't).
NICE glove tony Coach
Pros: I like this glove price was right
Cons: not made for a big hand

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
