Glove Benefits
The Slate fastpitch glove is constructed with a Diamond Pro Steer leather shell and rawhide laces for durability and a stable pocket. To ensure a fit that gives each player complete command on the field, Easton uses a fastpitch specific design with a smaller hand opening and a Quantum Closure System to adjust the fit around the hand. The Slate also features a super soft palm lining for a better grip. The 12" design provides a deep enough pocket for scooping ground balls out of the dirt and for pitchers to adjust their grip on the laces easily. The split woven web hides pitches and makes the transfer from glove to throwing hand quick and smooth.
