Like all Easton youth Pro Series mitts, this Kevin Pillar edition comes in the all-leather, ultra strong Hog Hide material. Known for its durability and longevity, this glove is also silky smooth in the pocket and on the fingers, making it both utilitarian in function and comfortable in play. Aspiring outfielders have to possess a variety of skills: good hand-eye coordination, speed, agility, and bullet-like reflexes. While a young, new player is developing all of these skills simultaneously, it can be demoralizing to drop a routine fly ball. The Pro Series comes equipped with the patented Flex Notch system which makes squeezing the ball in the pocket that much simpler. This Kevin Pillar glove is also emblazoned with the "Screamin' E" logo, and its colors will proudly represent the Giants outfielder. Finally, supple finger stops inside the glove allow a more confident and tight grip on the ball in the pocket, once again providing just a small leg-up in mastering fundamental skills.
