This material is going to provide a stiff feel at the outset. Due to that stiff feel at the beginning, there is great potential for the gloves to last many seasons.

The fitting of these models will probably be more directed towards players right on the cusp of high school or older. However, if you have a younger player that is looking to make the leap from a youth-style glove to more of an adult-style model, the Flagship Series should definitely be considered. The fitting of the gloves in this series may be a little large to start, but the player should grow into them well and be able to use them for many seasons into the future.

An 11.75" length is excellent for 3Bs as it gives them extra confidence to charge hard on a slow-rolling grounder (especially when compared to how they might feel when fielding with an 11.5" glove). That additional length gives them more room for error when coming in fast on the ball and allows them to fire the baseball over to first base easily after coming up with it.
Lastly, this glove would be excellent for use at shortstop too!
