Pros: I looked for my son a pitcher/utility glove for a long time. It came down to this glove or the 11.75 CK model. I went with this glove because my son liked it better than the all black. The glove looks even better in real life and the quality is great. You can't go wrong with this glove.

Have a question about the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 12" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18B212SS? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is this glove available in a Dustin Pedroia fit for smaller hands?
We do not have a smaller, Dustin Pedroia fitting version of this 2018 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 12" Baseball Glove (WTA20RB18B212SS) available for purchase at JustBallGloves.
My 13 year old son pitches and plays 3rd. Is this a glove that could work for both?
The 2018 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 12" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18B212SS features a 12" pattern and it is a great option for a player that plays multiple positions including pitching and 3rd base.
My almost 13 year old recently has transitioned to the outfield and wants a better glove. He's not a big kid. I want to get him something larger than his current 11.75", but not too large. He wants an A2000. Will this glove work despite the closed web?
For your 13 year old with a smaller hand, I would recommend the Wilson A2000 12.25" Baseball Glove (WTA20RB18PF92) over this 2018 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 12" Baseball Glove (WTA20RB18B212SS). The WTA20RB18PF92 has a 12.25" length that will work for an adolescent outfielder and a Pedroia fitting to allow the glove to be snug on your player's hand. In contrast, this WTA20RB18B212SS is considered more of a pitcher's glove and the fitting will be for an adult male hand.
I have a 14 year old utility player. He can play any position on the field, literally! However, he plays mostly 2nd and center. Looking to get him a new glove for Christmas. He is wanting a 12" or so Wilson, preferably from the A2000 series. What do you recommend for him that would be a good versatile glove?
Robin Johnson
This would be a good option for your player. I would recommend a 11.50" for a second baseman at your age but a 12.50" for an outfielder so the 12.00" option would be a solid choice.
My son is 14 and plays corner infield and corner outfield for his elite/club team. Looking to upgrade his glove to A2000 or equivalent. What size/model would you recommend?
Based off the information you've provided, I would recommend a glove right around 12.25 inches if he is playing corner infield and outfield. The 2018 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 12" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18B212SS would be a good option to consider. However, it tends to be used more for pitchers and features a 12" web pattern. I would recommend taking a look at the 2018 Wilson A2000 12.25" Todd Frazier Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18TDFTHR. This glove will work nicely for both positions.
I am in high school baseball and I was wondering if this glove would be big enough for outfield and pitcher?
I think the 12" size should work fine for both positions, as it's right in the middle of the usual sizes used. Generally 11.75"-12" is standard for pitchers, while outfielders like gloves anywhere from 12"-12.75".

I play 2nd and outfield. Would this be a suitable glove for those positions?
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 12" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18B212SS would be slightly too large for 2nd base (probably want to look around the 11.5" range), but it would work very well in the outfield.
Would this glove be good for a 12 yr old pitcher that also plays OF and 3B? What is the preferred method to break in a Super Skin glove?
Yes, I think this would be an excellent model for someone who plays those positions. The 12" size should work well for each spot. As for preferred break-in method, we always recommend just playing continuous catch as often as possible. It's the slowest, but it provides the most natural break in and allows the glove to conform to how the player catches the ball, where they catch the ball, how they squeeze the glove, etc. A good way to speed that up is to sit down in front of a fast pitching machine and catch balls for a bit.

My son is 10 and plays outfield and pitcher. His hands are a little smaller, I’m wanting to get him a 11.75” or 12." Would this be a good glove for him or what would you recommend?
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 12" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18B212SS offers a standard fit, so it may be a bit big for a player at that age in terms of fit on the hand. If you're wanting an A2000, I would suggest a Pedroia fit model, such as the Wilson A2000 11.75" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18DP15GM or WTA20RB19DP15GM. However, if you're wanting to stay with a closed web for pitching, you are certainly welcome to give the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 12" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18B212SS a shot under our 100 Day Love Your Glove guarantee.
