Description

New for The Wilson A2K is the premier baseball glove from Wilson. This is the one top players turn to when they want a long lasting glove that breaks in without breaking down. These models are meticulously crafted and constructed with a focus on durability and shaping. Made up of Pro Stock Select Leather, the best ball glove leather out there, the A2K only uses the top 5% of Wilson's leather for guaranteed consistency and flawlessness. This leads to a stronger pocket and an all around higher quality baseball glove. Adding to the greatness is the fact that master technicians spend three times longer pounding and shaping the A2K by hand for a reduced break-in period. With the combination of the additional shaping and Wilson's Rolled Dual Welting, which is where thin strips of Pro Stock leather are skived thin and rolled, the A2K retains its shape much better over the long haul. Another great feature of the Wilson A2K is the Double Palm Construction. A thin strategically cut piece of leather is placed between the palm liner and outer shell, providing maximum pocket stability and shock resistance. Wilson and their glove technicians are devoted to handcrafting the hardest working gloves in the game. Time and passion are put into every single glove whether it's made for play on an MLB field or your local diamond. It's no surprise that Major League Baseball players choose to use Wilson to get them through a 162 game season. That should be all the proof you need that the Wilson A2K is created with unparalleled craftsmanship. Wilson: Leather With Major Presence!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson A2K Dustin Pedroia 11.5" Baseball Glove: A2KRB17DP15GM? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I'm looking at this glove versus the 2016 Wilson A1K DP15 for my son. He's 10 and plays 2nd base for a competitive travel ball team. Which glove would you recommend? Baseball Mom
For a 10 year old player, I would probably recommend the A1K DP15 over this 2017 Wilson A2K Dustin Pedroia 11.5" Baseball Glove (A2KRB17DP15GM) as the A1K is more designed for use by a 10 year old player. Both gloves feature the tighter fitting, but the A1K will feature leather that is more pliable and will be easier for the break-in compared to this A2K.
Ben
Is the backside part of the glove that is a Black Gun Metal (Grayish) color real leather? It feels like it is a different material. Steve
Yes, it is real leather. It may feel different because the backside of the glove will be last to break-in, due to not seeing much contact with the ball.

The prices are set initially by the manufacturer and then by our merchandising staff. I would imagine that the 2017 Wilson A2K Dustin Pedroia 11.5" Baseball Glove: A2KRB17DP15GM has dropped in price because it is a year older and we have the ability to adjust that price now. The glove is extremely high quality and will offer you everything you can expect from an A2K glove.

The 2017 Wilson A2K Dustin Pedroia 11.5" Baseball Glove: A2KRB17DP15GM should offer a great fit for a player at that age with its smaller hand opening and narrower finger stalls. The overall 11.5" size is ideal for middle infield, and will be fine for use in the outfield for a couple years.
Logan
My son has been using the A1K DP15 Pro Staff for a few years now and it has served him well. He plays 13U travel now and needs to upgrade. This is the glove he wants. How long do you think this glove will be available to the public? My hope is for it to be a 2018 Christmas present but I don't want to wait too long and it will not be available. Stephen
The 2017 Wilson A2K Dustin Pedroia 11.5" Baseball Glove: A2KRB17DP15GM is a closeout model so it will remain available until all remaining stock has been sold. My son currently plays with the A1000 Pedroia fit. Looking to get him a nicer glove I am curious what the Pedroia fit is good for. He has skinny fingers but pretty long. Would that still be a route to go? I know the Pedroia fit is more snug but wanted to make sure it was fine on the finger length side. Thank you. Mark Meier
The Predroia fit on the 2017 Wilson A2K Dustin Pedroia 11.5" Baseball Glove: A2KRB17DP15GM will be more snug around the wrist and will also have shortened finger stalls, similar to your current glove.
Max
I am a 13 yr old that plays shortstop. I am looking for a glove that will last many seasons, and retain its shape over time. I would say that I have average size hands. Would you recommend the 2017 A2K DP15 or the 2018 A2K DATDUDE? SOOT3
The 2017 Wilson A2K Dustin Pedroia 11.5" Baseball Glove: A2KRB17DP15GM or the Wilson A2K 11.5" Brandon Phillips Baseball Glove: WTA2KRB18DTDUDE would certainly hold up well over time with proper care. The main difference between these two gloves will be fit with the DP model have a more secure fit for a smaller hand. Depending on which one feels more comfortable will ultimately decide your purchase but based on your age the Brandon Phillips model will allow for more hand expansion as you get bigger.
Cameron
Would this glove be okay to use for third base/short stop in a slowpitch league? R3N3
The 2017 Wilson A2K Dustin Pedroia 11.5" Baseball Glove: A2KRB17DP15GM would be a little small for most adult players in terms of hand fit, and is typically a little small for use at third base.
