Pros: I’ve been through quite a few gloves looking for a high quality leather, flexible enough for my 9yr old to have control fielding a backhand and coming up with the ball without struggling. The fit of the glove for a youth player is perfect. The wrist opening is very tight. My son has been using this glove for about a month and the glove is 90% broke in. This glove is a softer leather which helps breakin time. I was torn between the Wilson A2000 Dustin Peoria (DP15) model and this glove. The reason I went with this glove is because of the softer leather. I believe the A2000 is a nicer glove, but the leather is to stiff for a youth player. I’m hoping the Rawlings glove will last a few years, until he can transition into a stiffer glove. So far I highly recommend this glove.
Cons: Soft leather. I’m hoping the glove doesn’t break down to quickly. Gold print in the palm area may look bad after a year. Would rather see an embossed logo, print.
