Pros: This is an exceptionally well-made glove. My last first-base mitt was an older bloodline, and lasted about 15 years of wood-bat-league play. This one seems to be even better made. It will take some work to break in, but in a top of the line glove, serious players know that is not a con. It means durability. This glove is slightly lighter than my old steer skin only bloodline or my Rawlings pro-preferred, I'm sure due to the thinner (and tougher) kangaroo leather. If you don't know about kangaroo leather, pro motorcycle street racers use it for their protective full-body leather suits. It is the most likely to let you keep all your skin, and also happens to be very light. Of course, this glove is made by the last great American glove company, and I consider that alone to be well worth the money.
Cons: You've got to be kidding. None.
