The Marucci Pro Founders' Series (MFGFS350CM) Camel Catcher's Mitt is offered in a 35.00 inch pattern. It does offer a fairly large pocket due to the Japanese Kip Leather Shell. However, it will be fairly difficult to break in, and pocket formation will largely be dependent on the player.

Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Marucci was founded by two former Big Leaguers and their athletic trainer who began handcrafting bats for some of the best players in the game from their garage. Fast forward to today, and that dedication to quality and understanding of players' needs has turned into an All-American success story. Marucci is the number one bat in the Big Leagues and makes wood and aluminum bats, batting gloves, protective gear, and other baseball and softball accessories. Star players like Albert Pujols, Chase Utley, David Ortiz, Jose Bautista, Andrew McCutchen, and Fran …read more
Technically the Marucci Pro Founders' Series (MFGFS350CM) Camel Catcher's Mitt could be used for FastPitch softball but the glove is not made for female hands like fastpitch gloves are. With that said, this glove may be too loose for a female's hand.
Both mitts are very similar in design and quality. The Marucci Pro Founders' Series (MFGFS350CM) Camel Catcher's Mitt is made from a Japanese Kip Leather while the (CM3000BT) is a Japanese Steerhide. Kip is typically lighter than Steerhide, but I wouldn't even consider the 35" All Star models to be heavy. Both mitts have extended pockets, are fairly stiff out of the box but break-in well, and a pro-quality catcher's mitts.
At Marucci, they make their products the same way you play baseball: Hard work, determination, and attention to detail. This product is handcrafted. They are committed to never releasing a product before it meets the standard set forth by their wood bat. Their process is proven. The only way to achieve perfection is to accept nothing else. The first step in Marucci's process is to have Big Leaguers in their inner circle break in and critique the glove - knowing the extreme situations they would be put in. Players like Chase Utley allowed Marucci to comprehend what a player needs and looks for in an ideal fielding glove. The Marucci player advisory board was integral in testing, tweaking, and ultimately perfecting the glove line to have the feel and features that matter to players. Understanding this professional standard of perfection has allowed Marucci to handcraft a performance product that will last and maximize your game. Handcrafted, one by one, with the highest quality materials, for superior quality and feel, these gloves will require a gradual break-in period which provides a longer lasting form and shape. Professionally Inspired. Precision Crafted. Marucci: Honor the Game. The Marucci Pro Founders' Series is backed by a 100-Day Money Back Guarantee! Free Shipping!
