Shoeless Joe Gloves give players the quality, feel and style of the gloves used by professional ball players over the last 100 years. You can choose glove models used in the first half of century in the Golden Age Series, today's models in the Professional Model Series, youth gloves with the Joe Junior Series, or fastpitch softball gloves with the Shoeless Jane Series. Shoeless Joe gloves are individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. Shoeless Joe gloves are then hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through their breaking in process that leaves the glove with a beaten up and "Game Worn" look and feel, of a broken in glove. Thus each glove is unstructured giving it its own unique features. Players can choose to play with an old time or modern day web without having to change to another model. Pros: Glove is nice and broke in. The leather is very soft and flexible.

Cons: The 12.5 is a little bit big on my 11 year old. And the glove is heavy and tends to keep sliding down her hand. I think she will grow into it so I'm going to keep a hold of it.

Pros: The glove shipped on time. I only had to do minor work to it to break it in and it was game ready the first time she used it. My daughter is a 10 u travelball player. She's a pitcher and firstbaseman the glove works well in both positions! I guess now I need to get her a shoeless jane firstbasemens mitt! Great glove, just gloves was great!

Pros: Ready to go from day one, little if any break in time. This would be a great glove for a younger player from age 7 to maybe 10. Very easy to start right in playing with it. Very well suited to an age where the ball doesn't travel all that fast. Works very well with small hands/wrists.

Cons: Way to flexible for any player over 10 or 11. My daughter is 13 playing JV softball. The glove only lasted 2 practices before the thumb started bending back, making it very difficult to field or catch anything.

Pros: My daughter is a starting catcher for her travel team, but really needed a reliable fielding glove. She plays 3rd, SS, and 2nd base when shes getting a break from catching or during pool games. The glove came perfectly broke in and ready for game play and the fit is perfect for her (12 yrs old). She's actually snagged 3 screamers down the 3rd base line this past weekend with ease. She says the glove has great comfort and flexibility. Personally, I'm jealous that I didn't have a glove this nice when I played ball. It's worth every penny.

Cons: - pinky finger slot felt spread too wide for her hand and was uncomfortable - a little too soft on the pinky side of the glove (glove didn't close well around the ball)

Pros: All leather ,good quality ,easy to break in. Glove stays open easy to close when Ball hits glove . Have a recondition program to get glove Relaced or tighten . Replace Velcro on wrist strap 25.00 . We had this done to a 13 in glove .

Cons: Not really a con but glove did loosen up. Had a 13 in glove heavy use for a year . About 6 hrs A week practices 60 plus tournament games . Sent in to get recondition bought a 12.5 glove Daughter is using for 3rd base play it is a little smaller more suited for fielding . Using 13 in as a back up when it returns .

Pros: Looks to be quality made

Cons: TINY the 12.5 inch we just recieved is way smaller than the 12 inch mizuno it was baught to replace. The wrist strap is also very small and dosent adjust to fit my 10 year olds hand. We are going to give it a couple weeks but I just dont see it ever working with a 12 inch ball

Pros: The look of the glove is awesome! Didn't take long to break in at all. This is the 3rd Shoeless glove purchased from JustGloves and we have been very satisfied with all 3. Shoeless is great to work with on their warranties and their reconditioning program and we would definitely recommend.

Cons: Seems like over time the top of the web gets real loose and folds back when catching a ball.

Pros: Got this glove a week before Nationals and the DD couldn't have been happier. Very little break in needed and the palm padding is off the chart. Lets see how long it lasts, has to out perform the mizuno that lasted 3 years.

Pros: Glove is now 2 years old. Daughter plays 3rd and used it 1 year at 12U and 1 Year at 14U Tournament ball. Glove took very little time to break in to be "Game Ready" Great Look, Fit, and Feel Company stands behind it's Product

Cons: Laces broke very quickly, needed to be re laced after 1 season of 12U Fall Ball. Glove is maybe too soft, it won't hold it's shape and there's too much flexibility in the pocket. Not enough support in the pinky and thumb. They'll bend back on a hard hit ball. Not the best for a 3rd baseman

Pros: It was ready to go right out of the box and has just gotten better with time. I recommend it with no hesitation! I bought the 11.75 fast pitch glove for my daughter 3 years ago. She has definitely gotten her use out of it! She is just now ready to move up to a larger glove. She loves this glove and doesn't ever want to use a different brand!

Cons: She had to get used to the feel of it on her hand. It fit a little differently than her previous glove.

The best way to break in the Shoeless Joe Shoeless Jane Fastpitch Series: 1250FPBW or any other glove is to use a small amount of glove conditioner or oil on the palm and finger stalls of the glove. Once this is lathered in then playing catch with the glove and taking a ball or wooden mallet, like those included in the glove care kit, to help soften up the areas needing additional attention. The areas to focus on would be the pinkie and thumb stalls as well as the heel of the glove to help make the glove easier to close.
