Cons:
Catcher CF player
Pros: This glove is high quality, with a premium feel
Cons: This glove does not feel as good as the black and tan.
Baseball Nut
Pros: The best catchers mitt made. Provides excellent protection for the thumb. The ball sounds great into the glove. The all black looks sharp on the field. The break in time is fairly quick. High quality leather. People know you are a serious catcher when you take the field with this glove.
Cons:
Baseballnut
Pros: Best catchers mit my son has ever used. Great quality mitt. The all black color looks awesome. My son had thumb issues with other mitts but this one has better protection and design. This is our 3rd All Star mitt as he refuses to use anything else.
Cons: None
great jt player
Pros: great glove stiffer than sbt even allstar warns you so no problamo i think it is better than sbt due to being stiff. if you like it stiff get this glove
Cons: nada
Evan
Pros: great glove, easy break in time.
Cons: Non
FMINUS
Pros: OMG, this glove is hands down the best glove on the market. That "pop" everyone keeps talking about is the same sound you get from a Rawlings Pro Preferred or Mizuno Pro Limited Kip. Its stiff, but it was ready to play catch with out of the box, I can see that it can be game ready quicker than a pro preferred or even HOH. In the description it says its "Japanese Tanned Leather", but it doesnt mention that it is MADE IN JAPAN as well. From what I understand that gloves made in Japan are all from one craftsman. They should really emphasize that to justify the higher price tag of this mitt. Bottom line, if you can afford it, you wont regret it.
Cons: Not a fan of the looks, even though its better looking than the tan version. Rawlings/Mizuno/Wilson Gloves look much nicer, but the quality and feel of this trumps that.
Catcher JT Parent
Pros: excellent glove, leather is great and the breaking in process is quick
Cons: glove is pricy
Top Quality BDS Player
Pros: Very strong black leather creates a loud pop in the pocket. Feels like mitt will last me multiple seasons unlike past catcher’s mitts. Black leather gives it a great look. Pro level mitt for sure.
Cons: Black leather was tougher to break in then any other mitt I’ve ever had. However, now that it is finally where I want it the process was definitely worth it. Glove is pricey but as I wrote above, I fully expect this mitt to last me a few seasons.
