This 2017 Wilson A2000 12" Fastpitch Softball Glove (WTA20RF17P12) could definitely work between the mound and middle infield. It will have the closed webbing and 12.00" length which is excellent for mound use. As long as the 12.00" length is serviceable for her at middle infield, the glove should be just fine for use at that position as well.

My daughter plays college softball (infield and some outfield). She has very small hands so the fit is important. (1) What is the difference between the A2000 Superskin and a regular A2000 glove? (2) Do both styles of gloves fit the same? (3) Which will break in the fastest? John C
(1) The difference between the leather backing on this 2017 Wilson A2000 12" Fastpitch Softball Glove (WTA20RF17P12) and the backing on an A2000 Superskin glove will be that the SuperSkin backing is a synthetic material designed to be lighter and stronger than a regular leather backing. (2) Both a SuperSkin glove and a regular glove will feel the same in the fit. (3) The glove with the SupkerSkin backing will actually be able to break in a little quicker than the glove with the regular leather backing.

This 2017 Wilson A2000 12" Fastpitch Softball Glove (WTA20RF17P12) should be fine for use by your player at the 3rd base position. The 12" length should be able to handle softballs at third base and the closed web is fine for use at 3B (even though sometimes it is called a pitcher web).

I purchased this glove for my 13 year old daughter. It"s a great glove although we are still in the process of breaking it in. My daughter's old glove had faux fur inside the wrist band so that is what she is used to. This one does not. She keeps complaining that the lack of fur on the interior of this wrist strap is irritating her hand so she doesn"t really use the glove. Does anyone have any ideas? Coach Dave

Wilson feels the Dri-Lex wrist lining is a far superior design when it comes to wicking away sweat and moisture from the player's hand. Wearing a batting glove may help otherwise one would have to seek out other options.
