This allows Wilson to skive the hide thinner, providing players with a much lighter and more manageable glove. With 2x Palm Construction, the Pro Yak Series features a thin strategically cut piece of leather between the palm liner and outer shell, providing maximum padding and pocket stability. You would be able to use this glove as a pitcher, however the largest glove we recommend for pitching is a 12.00". Also we would recommend more of closed web for pitching to prevent seeing the ball inside the glove.
