Description

The Wilson Onyx Series is designed for the travel fastpitch player who needs a glove that can hit the field quickly and hold up through weekend-after-weekend of tournaments. The Wilson-exclusive Double Play Leather breaks in quickly but is rugged enough to offer lasting durability. Speaking of durability, the Rolled Dual Welting and Double Palm Construction reinforce the pocket and make sure that your glove holds the perfect shape once broken-in. This Series also features a new D-Fusion Pocket Pad. This pad is strategically placed in the glove where the most shock is experienced and leaves a player with a "No Sting Catching Zone" and extreme comfort.

This Wilson Onyx Fastpitch Series: A12RF16125EB features a 12.75 Inch Pattern, Modified T-Web, and is specifically designed for Fastpitch Outfielders. Pick up your Wilson softball glove today with Fast, Free Shipping and a 100 Day Money-Back Guarantee - right here at JustBallGloves.com!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson Onyx Fastpitch Series: A12RF161275? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Would this be a suitable glove for a 16 y/o playing travel ball and high school ball all year long? DD plays utility, mostly outfield. Mar
The Wilson Onyx Fastpitch Series: A12RF161275 is a 12.75 inch pattern and is a great option for a fastpitch outfielder. The double play leather being used allows this glove to feature little in the way of break in and the double palm construction keeps the palm from experiencing wear and tear quickly. With that said, for someone that is playing the game year round it might not last more than a couple years as the double play leather is typically going to become flimsy sooner than the leather used in the A2000 models.

What hand size is this glove based on, e.g., a female smaller hand or will it accommodate someone with larger hands? AA
This glove is a fastpitch model, so it will designed to fit a woman's hand.

About the Brand

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.

Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
