I play softball, primarily at 3rd base and sometimes 2nd base. I currently use a 12 and a quarter inch glove and it has run it's course. I am 6 foot 1 and weigh 220 pounds and have used small gloves all my life. I just can't fathom playing with anything bigger than 12.5 inches at the most. How deep is the pocket? Can I break it in so that I can use it for softball? Amin Henriquez
Would this glove be too big? hrhitter3
Does the used glove have a name or any writing on it? glovemart
My 15 year old plays both SS and 3rd base. He likes the 12" basket web usually. What is the difference between this webbing? Will the double layer in palm give him more protection in the palm? How long for break-in? Mike

When it comes to me buying a glove, I care about a lot of comfort. With me not being able to try this glove on before buying it, can you maybe tell me how comfortable this glove is? Thank you, and also, what condition is the used in? Also, the hand opening looks rather small. Mike

I am considering the Wilson A2KRB15DW5GM for my son's 14u travel team. He plays 3B and outfield. Is this a good option for him? I am concerned about not trying it on before buying it. Certain A2K models that we tried in stores appear to be tight where you enter your hand. David

About the Brand
A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
