Pros: Amazing glove had ot for about 3 weeks now (got it from a wilson rep) super light. lighter then any meshback I have ever used. the Dual Welting really helps this glove keep it shape. The superskin is very tough and does not cause any loss in performance also does not get nearly as dirty as meshbacks. Great pro Stock leather broke it in; in just alittle over a week no oil or conditioner needed just played alot of catch. Was alittle tight on the wirst and fingers but after wearing two batting gloves while breaking it in it molded nicely. Love this glove if your serious about your game you can't go wrong with Wilson!
Cons:

Pros: The A2000 1786 is simply the best 11.5" on the market and I've tried them all. Nothing feels and fits my hand better than the 1786 and I was a Rawlings die-hard prior to getting the A2000. Soft leather and easy break-in but stiff enough in the fingers to retain shape and not become floppy.
Cons: none at all

Pros: This A2000 is absoulutely the best glove I've ever owned! The superskin makes this glove super durable and of course light. I used to be all Rawlings but this glove changed my mind instantly. I would recomend this glove to any one who plays serious baseball!!
Cons: Absoulutely none!!

Hi. You answered a question previously regarding my left handed 11-year old son with his small hand and suggested the a2000 scb2, which seems very appropriate, but now my question is this. He wants the rawlings pro preferred. I am wondering which one would be more appropriate. He needs an outfielder and can't take it any bigger than 11.5 -11.75 and plays club ball and little league. Please help, Wilson a2000 scb2 or Rawlings pro preferred?? Thanks. Sarah

About the Brand
A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
