Pros: Very easy to break in. Very durable. The super skin really does work. I would go from third base (I was using this 1787 SS) to my wilson a2000 CK22 pitching glove and you can tell the difference in the weight.

Cons: None so far just that it seems to play more as a 11.5 glove than previouse 1787's. But other than that none

Pros: I bought this glove for my 10 yr old son to use as an outfield glove and we have not been disappointed. We initially tried the 11.75 A1K but we were not satisfied with the quality of leather when compared to my son's A2000DP15. This A2000 1787SS is very light compared to all leather gloves, which was a big plus considering that a 10yr old will be using it. The glove seems to be breaking in nicely and just like other A2000's we've used the ball just sticks in the pocket (this is something that my son has constantly said vs new Rawlings & Mizunos gloves). The black and blonde combination is beautiful, we'll see how the blonde pocket holds up.

Cons: none yet

Pros: This glove is perfect for anyone wanting a long lasting glove for a good price. Comparing this glove to any of the 2016 in my opinion, it's a steal for the price while getting the best out of a wilson baseball glove. I play shortstop with this glove because it fits my playing style.

Cons: If you are thinking about a 11.75" glove check if one of your teammates to see how the glove feels. BE WARNED: Glove is super comfortable.

I'm having a tough time deciding between this glove and the Hanley Ramirez edition A2000. Can you tell me the pros and cons of both gloves? preston
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB151787SS) is going to weigh in at approximately 20 oz and is going to be a little easier to break in and work due to the SuperSkin material. The Hanley Ramirez model weighs in at approximately 21 oz and is stiffer than the A2000 SuperSkin model.
Jake
Which glove is more durable the Wilson A2000 1787 SuperSkin or the Wilson A2000 1787? Luca
Both the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB151787SS) and the Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BB1787) feature very high quality leather, which makes both these gloves durable. However, the SuperSkin gloves are 2x stronger, while being lighter than other leathers. Another advantage of the SuperSkin gloves is that they repel moisture, whereas the A2000 1787 does not have that feature.

When it comes to gloves, price is the absolute best indicator of quality, as you really get what you pay for. The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB151787SS) is made from American Pro Stock Steer Hide leather which is going to be stiffer, more durable, and tougher to break in compared to lower price gloves.
Liz

The glove care kit includes: a 210 Denier Polyester sport pack, glove oil, an over-sized shaping ball, two applicator sponges, two over-sized shaping bands, and a wooden break-in mallet, and a brochure. It would definitely come in handy with the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB151787SS)
Chinyere
What does the RB mean in A20RB151787SS? DingerDude
Wilson has not given specific indications as to the reasons for the lettering in their model numbers but if I had to speculate I would assume it would have to do with the open back or "regular back" rather than it being a closed back design.

The biggest difference between the two is that the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB151787SS features Wilson's SuperSkin material. SuperSkin is 2x stronger and lighter than leather, repels moisture, and reduces break-in time.
Marcus
Is 11.75" a good sized glove to use for a high school sophomore that plays 3B and SS? tom
At 11.75", the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB151787SS would be best utilized at 3B, but could be used by a SS just as well. Middle infielders typically go with an 11.50" glove.
Marcus
Are you able to put two fingers in the pinky stall? post 22
Yes, the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB151787SS allows for a player to put two fingers in the pinky stall.
Jason
Should I use Wilson Oil or Conditioner to break in this mitt? MM
I would recommend avoiding the use of oil and conditioner when breaking in this Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB151787SS), as those products only achieve their full purpose when the glove's leather starts to dry out. To break in the glove, I would recommend extensive use (catch, practice use, etc...). You only need to use oil and conditioner when you start to notice dryness in the leather of the this glove. Any oil or conditioner can be used on this glove when it becomes dry, just as long as it is used sparingly (to avoid weighing down the glove).
Ben
Could this glove be used for infield slow pitch? Javi
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB151787SS is ideally for baseball so it will have a smaller pocket compared to a softball glove. You may have trouble keeping a softball in the pocket of this glove.
Angelique

My 13 year old who is smaller in size (5 foot) plays right and second. I'm looking for a glove that he can use for both positions. What would you recommend? BenZ
There is really not a glove that would be ideal for both a 2B and OF. Most middle infielders will use an 11.25 to 11.50 inch pattern while outfielders will use 12.00 and above. The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB151787SS would be the best option for both as it has an 11.75 inch pattern which is slightly larger than a usual middle infield glove and slightly smaller for OF use.
Cameron
I currently use a Rawlings glove that is very loose around my wrist. How does Wilson (this glove in particular) compare to Rawlings as far as the fitting is concerned. I really would like a glove that fits more snug. Would you recommend this glove or another 11.75" model? Paul
This Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB151787SS) would be very similar in its fitting to another Rawlings mitt with an adult fitting on it. If you were interested in a Wilson A2000 model that would come with more of a snug fit to it, I would recommend the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) as it has a smaller wrist opening and narrower finger stalls. The only drawback is that the length of the DP15 will be shorter at 11.50".
Ben
Why does the price go up $30 when I proceed to checkout? Jai'len Wilson

Ben
I use a Rawlings HOH Trapeze 12.75" for OF but hold the glove with my pinky and ring finger in the pinky space of the glove. Will this glove have enough room? Ev
Yes, the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB151787SS has a big enough pinky stall to put both your pinky and ring finger in it.
Jason
What size is this glove? zachary baseball
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB151787SS is a 11.75 inch pattern best suited for a 3B.
Cameron
Does it have a lot of heel padding? keving
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB151787SS will not feature much in the way of heel padding to make sure that the ball does not rebound off padding when it hits the heel of an infielders glove.
Cameron
I play third base what glove would you recommend? zach
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB151787SS) would be an excellent option for a player at third base.
