Is SuperSkin a material that will be an improvement for a glove? Mark
I'm looking for a glove for my travel-level son, who is 11 years old but the size of a 13 year old. I was thinking of either the Wilson A2000 12.25 inch (A20RB151613SS) or the Wilson A2000 12.00 inch (A20RB152800). What are the advantages of the double break verus the single break and which is better for a kid? Also, overall, would you recommend one of these gloves over the other for a kid? Steve
I am looking for a glove that is very durable and very stiff but catches very well. I would like it to be 12.5 inches. I have the Wilson A2000 11.5 pro stock infield glove. So hopefully this first base mitt has the same feel as that glove. jparrish_6
I have had this glove for about 70 days and it still feels very stiff. Is that normal? Do Wilsons take longer to break-in because all mine have broken in faster than this glove. chase
I have two months left in my season. If I get the glove now, do you think the glove would be game ready quick enough if we have 6 practices per week? smittysmith19
what comes in the glove care kit? Dylan
Does this glove come in a left version? Pete
About the Brand
A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
