Description

Since its introduction in 1957, the original Wilson A2000 Series has set the standard for premium quality ball gloves. Developed together with engineers, craftsmen and Major League players such as Evan Longoria, Greg Maddux and Ivan Rodriguez, the A2000 Series is the ultimate defensive tool. Used on MLB fields since 1998, the A2000 SuperSkin models were developed to be as lightweight as possible, without sacrificing performance or durability. SuperSkin repels moisture and reduces the overall weight of the glove while still being 2x stronger than conventional leather. The SuperSkin models strategically place American Pro Stock leather at certain points such as the palm and web to give it even more rugged durability. Pro Stock American Steerhide is prized by players for strength and unmatched feel. It has even been called "the perfect ball glove leather". Its durability is enhanced even further with Dual-Welting pre-curved finger design that helps the pocket keep its shape and stay stable. Think it's impossible to improve perfection? Think again. Put millions of hours of passion for excellence in the palm of your hand with a Wilson A2000 SuperSkin glove! Wilson: More Win! Free Shipping!

What would the break-in time be in this glove for someone who does not like oil or anything like that? outfielder
The break-in process Wilson A2000 SuperSkin (A2000BBOT6SS) will take right around a week if you work with it daily. We would recommend getting out and playing catch with it so it helps form to your hand.

How long does this glove last in comparison to the Rawlings Pro Preferred 303 model? Will I be able to flare this or is it stuck in its default shape? dylan
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A2000BBOT6SS) will be very comparable to any Pro Preferred in life span. They are both professional grade leather and will last you a very long time with proper care. You will be able to flare this glove out if you begin the day you get it and never neglect it.

For a 5'5" 13 year old, what would be a good sized outfielder's glove? baseball dude
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A2000BBOT6SS) will be the 12.75" size. A 12.50"-12.75" would work well for an outfielder at your age.
