We do not recommend steaming any of the gloves we sell and especially higher end models like the Wilson A2000 Series (WTA20RF15IF12SS). This process can damage the glove and significantly shorten the lifespan.

What is the difference between this model and the "WTA20LF15IF12SS" model? Only difference I see is the 'RF' vs the 'LF' in the model name. R_M
I am not sure since we do not carry the (WTA20LF15IF12SS) but I think it might be the left handed version and the Wilson A2000 Series (WTA20RF15IF12SS) that we have is the right handed style.

Would this glove work for outfield and first base play for a 12 year old? She currently has a Vella 11.5 that she uses for short and third. chris
I would not recommend the Wilson A2000 Series: WTA20RF15IF12SS Fastpitch for first base and outfield play as it is preferred by infielders. This Wilson A2000 may be used by your daughter for shortstop and third base.

For a 15 year old with smaller hands, I think that there is a good shot that this 12.00", Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (WTA20RF15IF12SS Fastpitch) will fit your daughter's hand for use at 2nd base. I would also recommend considering the Wilson A2000 Series (WTA20RF15H1175 Fastpitch) which will have a slightly smaller length at 11.75".

My daughter plays short stop and 2nd advanced level 16U. We are looking for a durable glove with easy break-in. What is the difference between SuperSkin and the regular A2000 model? Blondie
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (WTA20RF15IF12SS Fastpitch) will feature the SuperSkin material on the backside of the glove and does not require a break-in period. The regular A2000 will have traditional leather all over and will require more effort on its initial break-in period. Both gloves would be excellent options and if well taken care of would provide excellent durability.
