Jason
It says new release. What is different? scott
The Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33 Catcher's Mitt) will be a newly released 2015 model. It will still feature the same leather and lacing as in years past.
Brandon
Will it be hard going from a 32.50" glove to a 33" or a 33.50" glove? Dustin
No, it will not be hard moving up a 1/2" in mitt size on the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33 Catcher's Mitt). A full 1" may feel different at first but should not be hard to get used to.
Brandon
I had a custom Pudge A2000 catcher's mitt. I plan on getting this new model. Will this model feel different than the Pudge model? Also, what is so different about this model compared to the older models? sean
The Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33 Catcher's Mitt) will be a 33" mitt size. The Pudge mitts are typically 32.50". The leather material and break-in time will be very much the same between both models. Also, the durability and comfort will also be very much the same. Sometimes the webs can differ. You'll see half moon or two-piece webs. Either would be an exceptional choice for a new A2000 Catcher's mitt.
Brandon
Does this glove have the padding to catch pitchers throwing in the mid to upper 80's? ffffzdkhdndj
The Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33 Catcher's Mitt) is constructed with Pro Stock Leather to provide durability throughout the whole glove so it will last game after game. Also, the dual welting will ensure that the pocket will hold up against pitchers throwing in the mid to upper 80s.
Ben
How deep is the pocket in this glove? rennienni
The 33 inch pattern and 1/2 mood web on the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33) allows for a fairly deep web. Exactly how deep would depend on how you measure it and how you break it in.
Patrick
How long does this mitt generally take to break in? dwn98p
The Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33 Catcher's Mitt) features a pro stock leather grade which is very durable. It will take an extensive break in period. Depending on how much you play with it and work the pocket, it could be broken in in two weeks or less. Having a shaping ball in it will also help with the pocket structure and formation.
Joe
What size of glove should I have for high school? 33 or 34? beastmode2731
The sizing of the mitt you should use would be based on your preference rather than age. Either size could work. A 33 inch model like the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33) would be a bit more common than a 34 inch size but either could work well for you.
Patrick
What catcher's glove brand has the most padding? dequan
It would not be that one specific brand pads their gloves more than another. Comfort of the catcher's mitts like the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33) does not only depend on padding as well. Padding, leather quality, fit and condition of the mitt all factor in as well.
Patrick
Is this mitt or the Wilson A2000 Pudge series a better glove? Trent
The Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33) and the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15PUDGE) are equally high quality models. They are both nice options and feature the same premium leather. The preference would come down to which style you like more.
Patrick
What does "used" mean for this mitt? Glenn
The Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33 Catcher's Mitt) is a used catcher's mitt in excellent condition. This mitt may have some slight discoloration or break-in from previous customer using it but will be a great glove to consider. Also, this mitt will come with a 100 day money-back guarantee.

I am looking at this 33" mitt and the Rawlings Heart of the Hide 32.5". Frankly, I do not need that good of a mitt because I am only going to use it for playing catch, but I like high quality gear and have always used a catchers mitt. Which mitt of the 2 do you recommend and which would be easier to break-in? Chris
Between this Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33 Catcher's Mitt) and the Heart of the Hide model, you are going to get very similar quality leather. In regard to break-in, the gloves are going to be very similar as well as neither will necessarily be able to be broke-in faster. My recommendation would be to get this A2000 as it has a little larger 33" circumference which will be nice for just playing catch.
Ben
I am purchasing for a varsity catcher. What do you recommend? Bigbug41
The Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB15CM33 Catcher's Mitt would be a great option for a varsity catcher. It has a 33.00 inch pattern. The pro stock leather will help this mitt retain its shape well over time with the proper care.
Cameron
I just received this glove for my son and am curious about the sewn-in, extra, thumb pocket. This is in addition to the traditional thumb strap in every catcher's glove. Normally he wears a thumb protector, but it will not fit with this the way it is. JDalton
All of our gloves and mitts feature a 100 day guarantee. If the Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB15CM33 Catcher's Mitt does not fit to your son's liking this catcher's mitt can be sent back for a refund of your purchase price or exchange for another mitt.
Cameron
I have been playing college level for the last three years with two A2000 mitts that had a 32.5" circumference. Will I notice a significant difference if I change to a 33" pattern? Willie
If you were to go with a model of catcher's mitt like this Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15CM33 Catcher's Mitt), you would probably notice a slightly larger catching area due to the bigger 33.00" circumference of the glove. However, I don't think the change would be too drastic. That being said, if you are most comfortable using a 32.5" circumference glove, I would recommend to keep using that size.
