The Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB152800 First Base Mitt is a very good option for someone needing a 1B mitt. However, this glove will fit better on an adult hand as opposed to a youth player. The wrist opening and finger stalls on this model may be too big for someone who is 10 years old. Would recommend looking into a 12.00 inch youth pattern that will feature the smaller wrist opening and tighter finger stalls.

As well, both mitts are built with a double-break heel, both have a single-post webbing and both have a 12.00" length. The biggest difference between the mitts will be the cosmetics.
