Bob

Pros: Great glove! Made out of good leather and has a deep enough pocket for playing outfield in slow pitch softball.

Cons: Tighter around the hands if you have bigger hands like me and the pinky is barely big enough to get 2 fingers in it.

Excellent glove wolves34 player

Pros: This is a great glove. Very comfortable. Holds its shape very nicely. I like how this glove has reinforcements in all the fingers not just the thumb and pinky. This glove fits best for guys with small hands but will definitively have enough room for guys with big hands.

Cons: Leather is a little thin, Laces

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBKP92? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Do you know if the gunnmetal grey holds the "shiny" look after playing a lot? milan
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBKP92's gunmetal stitching holds it's shiny look well, if not too soiled with oil and dirt. Make sure to avoid oiling the stitches.
Katie
Would this glove be good for a 14 year old pitcher as well? Braden
This Wilson A2000 is more well suited for outfielders. Normally pitchers prefer to use 11.75"-12.25" gloves.
Justin R.
Can you tell me the difference between this model and the Wilson A2000JH32GM 12.50"? They appear to be very similar. Are there any advantages/disadvantages? steve s
The A2000JH32GM is an A2000 KP92 pattern, but it features an extra large thumb stall and hand opening that would offer a better fit for a larger hand. Other than that feature, this Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBKP92 is the same design that offers the same leather quality, pattern size, and web style.
Mac
Would this be a good choice for a outfield glove for 12 year old that is a more advanced player? kingme
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBKP92 is a little too big for a twelve year old player. We recommend a 12.00" to a 12.25" glove such as the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A2000 ASOB.
Kara
Would this be a good glove for a freshman? Tom
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBKP92 will be a good durable glove for a high school player. The size will be dependent on the player's age and position. For more information on sizing please visit our Glove Coach at http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-coach/
Tori
How does this glove compare to a Louisville Slugger Omaha Flare Series? Not including price. richkid3
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBKP92 will have a stiffer feel. It will also take a while to break-in compared to the Louisville SLugger Omaha Flare Series. Both would feel great for the outfield at that 12.50" sizing.
Brandon
Is this a good glove for an adult male slow softball and is an infielder? Sheila
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBKP92 has a deep enough pocket that it could be used as an infield softball glove.
Kara
Would this glove be good for an outfielder who is also a pitcher? Julian
This Wilson A2000 Series: (A2000BBKP92) is technically an outfield model, but you could use this to pitch with if you felt comfortable using the 12.50" pattern size. There are many pitchers that like using the larger pattern size, and the Pro Laced T-Web would be a good web style for a pitcher that would help conceal the pitch selection. Ultimately, it depends on what you're comfortable using.
Mac
Are all of the outfield models made to fit two fingers in the pinky slot? Justin
No. Not all outfield gloves are specifically made for two fingers in the "pinky" finger slot. However, most gloves will allow you to slide the ring finger into the "pinky" stall. The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) should be comfortable with two fingers in the "pinky".
Aaron
Is the 100 day warranty only used when there is a defect in the glove? Adam
The 100 day glove guarantee policy is not only used for defects. If the size is incorrect, or if you are unsatisfied with the performance or feel, you can go ahead and return or exchange the glove. This can be completed by filling out the returns form on our website www.justballgloves.com. The link in the top right hand corner is titled "Returns" and this will be the form that you will need to complete in order to get a refund or different glove.
Merritt
Which glove web will typically hold up the longest for outfielders: H-web, trapeze, or modified trapeze? I need one to keep throughout high school and I can't have my glove collapsing or the pocket getting to flimsy. dylan
The H-Web or modified t-web would hold up the best in he outfield. The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) would be a great option.
Kara
I have big hands. Will this glove work for pitching? cjw
Regardless of hand size, the Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) is not ideal for pitching. Most pitchers use an 11.5-12.25" glove. The 12.5" glove will be slightly too large to handle come backers and bunts around the pitching mound. I would recommend taking a look at the Wilson A2K (A2K0BB3CJW). This glove is designed for CJ Wilson.
Justin R.
Would you recommend this web or the OT6 web for an outfielder? gerg
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) is a great web for an outfielder. The OT6 is also a very popular web type. Either would be a great choice.
Aaron
Is this glove a baseball or softball glove? bob
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) is a baseball glove.
Kara
Could this be used at shortstop in slow pitch softball or fastpitch? pat
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) is best used as an outfielders glove for baseball. The A2000BBKP92 can be used for softball, but softball specific or fastptich specific gloves will provide a better performance.
Jason
Is this glove silver on the outside? Ben
Te Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) will be black leather accented with gunmetal stitching in color.
John
Is there a difference between this glove and the A2000 JH32 glove? Jmart
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) will be very similar to the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBJH32GM). Both models have the same KP92 webbing and are made with the same Pro Stock American Steerhide.
John H
I prefer a larger glove when pitching but I don't play outfield. Will this glove be a good option for me? BigC
Yes, the Wilson A2000 (BBKP92) would work fine for pitching if you prefer a larger glove. I would not recommend going over a 12.5". The modified trapeze will be helpful when you are on the mound to help hide your pitches and grip.
John
What size is the glove? dukester
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) is a 12.5 inch model.
Patrick
Would the KP92 or 1781 be be better for infield use in slow pitch? Torn between the two, I play 2nd or SS mostly. Nick
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) is considered an outfield design, so the Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BB1781) would be a better option since it considered an infield model. Both gloves are high performance gloves from Wilson, however, due to your infield positions, the 1781 may be the better option for you.
Tessa
How is this glove going to hold up? I need it for all of high school baseball, I don't want it to lose shape or the picket to get flimsy. Will this be a good glove? chrisBaseball16
It is tough to say how long any glove, including the Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92), will last. With any glove, the price point is the best insight into the quality of leather as well as the durability of a glove. It is a higher end model from Wilson, so it has the potential to last a while with proper glove care.
Tessa
Will this be a stiff glove? Herrow
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) a fairly stiff glove and will require a decent amount of break-in time.
Jason
Can I fit two fingers in the pinkie stall? Does it come with an A2000 key chain? Adrian
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) will allow for two fingers in the pinkie stall. It will also come with an A2000 key chain.
Brandon
Is the Josh Hamilton glove better then this glove? Lefty
Both the Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) and the Wilson A2000 (BBJH32GM) Josh Hamilton model will feature the same 12.50" size and web type. Either would be a fantastic choice for an outfielder.
Brandon
I am a freshman in high school, would this glove last me through high school? Trevor
Depending on how well the glove has been taken care of, the Wilson A2000 Series: (A2000BBKP92) has a very good chance of lasting you through several seasons. It is constructed from Premium Pro Stock American Steerhide, and is a very high quality model that should last most players quite a while with its quality construction.
Merritt
I play outfield in senior softball. My current glove is a 14" Wilson 600. How would this glove compare? I don't have large hands and using a large glove can sometimes be a challenge. JA
Size wise, the Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) will have a tighter fit on your hand due to the fact that it is a 12.50" pattern as opposed to the 14" glove you have been using previously. When comparing this one to the A600, this glove is made from a higher quality leather so it will be more durable. It will also require a break in period, whereas the A600 was game ready out of the box. This glove also features the Pro Laced T-Web design, which is ideal for the outfield position.
Tessa
Do you guys put a ball so the pocket doesn't collapse during shipping? Adrian
The way we package the gloves we sell does not allow the shape of the glove to be compromised during shipment. The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) that you would order would come in factory condition.
Patrick
How do A2000 models compare to Rawlings Heart of the Hide models? Also, to Pro Preferred models? (not including price). Gabe
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) will be very comparable to a Rawlings Heart of the Hide. The leather quality and general feel will be very similar. Also, the break-in time and durability will be very similar. Rawlings Pro Preferred models will actually take less time to break-in and will feel more soft. They feature a softer kip leather compared to a more stiff Heart of the Hide or A2000.
Brandon
Your glove coach recommended this glove for men's slow pitch softball infielders. How will it perform? Will the manufacture warranty be voided if this is broken in improperly due to me using it for softball? Also, can you recommend a better glove for men's slow pitch infielders, preferably Wilson? Danny
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) should perform fine for that positions and would not have issues with the warranty being voided. As far as quality, the A2000 line would be very high end for softball use so I do not know of one that I would recommend above it. Perhaps just going with a bigger model like the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB15OT6SS) might work better but both should work.
Patrick
Do you have this glove in other colors? triton
Unfortunately, we do no have the Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) is other colors, but below is the link our website where you can customize Wilson gloves. http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-resource-guide/custom-gloves/wilson/

Is this a baseball glove or softball glove? gabriel
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) is designed for baseball.
Jason
What is the preferred way to break in the A2000 outfield model glove? Jason
We recommend using glove oil to break in the Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92). We do sell a glove care kit with rubber bands, a mallet, an over sized ball, and glove oil and an application sponge.
Frankie
On this site it's a considered a slowpitch glove, on other sites I've seen this glove considered a baseball glove. Is there really any difference between a larger sized baseball glove and a slowpitch glove? gb
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) can be used for both slow pitch and baseball play. It should work well for either one.
Patrick
Does this glove have really soft leather on the outside? Because it looks like it in the picture. Baseballkid34
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) features Pro Stock American Steerhide which, while smooth, is somewhat stiff out of the box so it would not be considered soft.
Patrick
Would this be a good choice for an outfield glove for a 14 year old that is getting ready to go into high school? Baldo
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) features a 12.50 inch pattern that would be ideal for utility and outfield purposes. The wrist opening and finger stalls might be slightly too large, however, we do offer a 100 Day Guarantee and free shipping both ways!
Joe
Will this glove be good for a incoming freshman to college baseball? A. Hovic
The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) would be a great model for that level of play as well as higher levels going forward.
Patrick

I would say that the Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) would be a great model and size for a player of that age and competition level.

Frankie

I would like to know what is the best size glove and best web fit for a high school sophomore outfielder and pitcher? alfrsd
I would say that a 12 inch model with a closed web design would be the most typical for a player of those positions. The Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBKP92) may be a bit too big for pitching in most cases.
Patrick
Would this be good option in the OF for slow pitch play? Javi
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBKP92 is baseball glove but could be used for softball certainly.
Damon

The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBKP92 ia a glove designed for a baseball player who plays the OF. For someone who is 14 years old, this glove and its 12.50 inch pattern would be a good option/fit to consider.
