Pros: Craftsmanship, leather, durability. High quality leather this glove will last season after season.

Cons: Very hard to break in (even with the break in kit I bought with it). You have to work on it everyday and even than its at least 3-4 week project. Thought I might have to return it, but as a month approached it started to break in nicely. Not a buy and use glove!!!

Pros: This glove is amazing! I got it for Christmas and loved it the minute I saw it. It's everything you want in a glove and is perfect for shortstop and third. Worth the money. If you do purchase this beauty, make sure it doe s not get squished in a bag or something. Carry it outside your bag or get a glove care system.

Cons: Very stiff but if you break it in right, you won't be sorry

Pros: I bought this glove, and immediately fell in love with it. It is perfect for a middle infielder, as you feel the ball to a high extent and it is easy to get out. Some additional pros include how you can click the laces and how it is easy to flare the thumb and pinky. If you are an avid ballplayer, the palm can get worn down. A solution to this is to condition the leather with glove conditioner when the season ends. Doing this makes the glove have a very long and durable lifespan.

Pros: This glove is very comfortable for people with a smaller hand. The leather looks great and feels even better. I was given this glove as a birthday present, and so far, I love how this glove has modifications like Pedroia. I like the thinner pad for more feel, and I like how it's double laced for durability.

Cons: The only problem that I see will be playing outfield with this glove. It is made for the infield, and should stay that way.

Tyler
Why isn't the glove the same as pictured on the Wilson website? glove kid

Tyler
Would this glove be good for a 12 year old utility player who plays mostly infield? zack
Yes, the A2000BBDP15GM would be great for someone who mostly plays infield.
Damon
I might get this glove for my 11 year old brother who plays 2nd base and Shortstop. He plays at a competitive level for his age. Would you recommend this DP15 for him? Anthony
Yes, the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM would be a perfect choice. It is a very high quality glove that is durable. It will also have a smaller hand opening, which would work well for an 11 year old.
Nick
Would this be good for a utility player? 143123
The correct size for a utility player depends on the age of the player. We recommend using our glove coach for proper sizing; http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-coach/.
Kara
Is it long to break in? PLucdub
There is not a specific time frame as to when a glove becomes broken-in, as it depends on the amount of use. Typically this quality of glove will take several weeks to break-in.
Kara
Would you recommend this glove to a high school shortstop? brad10
At 11.5", the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM is a great option for a High School infielder.
Tyler
Is this glove made for smaller hands or will it work for someone who likes more extended hand room? baseball is life
The Wilson A2000 BBDP15GM will have a slightly snug fit.
Damon
The wrist looks a little tight and I have a pretty big hand. Is it uncomfortable for a big handed guy? Is it possible to adjust the wrist to make it bigger? yo
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM does have a smaller hand opening and smaller finger stalls. If you have bigger hands, I would suggest this model. http://www.justballgloves.com/product/wilson-a2000-series--a2000bbg4st/14335/.
Nick
I am 6' and a middle infield high school shortstop. Is this a good glove for me? sberry1211
Yes. The Wilson A2000BBDP15GM is a high quality glove and we recommend 11"-12" size for your age, so this would be right up your alley.
Damon
How long does it take to break-in? What should I do to break it in? Jen-Jen
To break-in the Wilson A2000 Series, you should keep a thin layer of oil on it. After that, play catch with it as much as you can. Also, make sure to keep a softball or a few baseballs in the pocket of the glove when it is being stored. This should break-in the glove quickly and properly. Break-in time depends on how much the glove is used.
Nick
Is this a good glove for college? M45L
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM would be a great glove for the college baseball player. This glove model is an 11.50" so I would recommend this glove for primarily Shortstop or Second Base use. It could also be used at Third Base or on the mound if needed. This is the Dustin Pedroia Game Model so it will fit a little tighter around the wrist opening and finger stalls. It will have extra long lacing and a flared shape. The Pro Stock American Steerhide Leather will be stiff at first, but will have an incredible, player friendly feel once broken in.
Brandon
What is the appropriate age for this glove? will hess
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM is best suited for a high school infielder. However, it does feel slightly smaller than some gloves.
Kara
Can I use this as a pitchers glove too? Gaven
Yes, the Wilson A2000: A2000BBDP15GM could be used for pitching as well as infield play.
Tom
My son is an 8 year travel team short stop. He is currently using an 11 inch Mizuno. The glove is now soft and broken-in, but seems too flimsy when direct line drives are hit to him. We are looking to replace it. What do you recommend? Steve
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM is a good choice. An 11.5" is a good size for your son and the A2000 gloves are made from American Pro Stock Steerhide which is prized by professional players for its rugged durability and unmatched feel.
Jeff
I play third base and pitcher would this glove be okay for pitcher? Flug24
Yes. The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM is a good option for either position.
Tyler
Does this glove have a warranty? I have owned the glove for slightly over 6 months and a lace has broken in the pocket of the glove. Jgroover
Glove warranties vary. You will have to contact Wilson at 1-800-254-5454 for information regarding glove warranties.
Tyler
My 12 year old son has a 11.25" A1000 Showcase model and is looking to step into a A2000. His hand is smaller than a normal 12 year old. A regular A2000 11.5" is still too big for his hand. Do you recommend staying with a showcase or a DP 15 model? Scotty
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM runs smaller than most A2000 11.5". The snug fit would fit well for a 12 year old with a smaller hand.
Kara
Can you still get this model with the laces the same color as the glove? CB
Unfortunately, it looks like only the youth model Wilson A450 Series: A0450BBDP15 Youth glove will have the matching colored lacing. The adult model Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM glove will have the dark brown lacing.
Brandon
Best way to break it in? FJ
The best way to break-in the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM is too apply a light coat of glove oil. Play a lot of catch to break-in the pocket. We also provide a Glove Care Kit that can be a great help in the glove break-in process. It comes with large rubber bands, oil, a small mallet, an applicator, a ball to help shape the glove, also instructions will be provided.
Brandon
I like feeling the ball and knowing its in the glove but i also don't want my hand stinging the whole game from catching the ball, would this be a good glove for me or would the Rawlings Duel core be better for me? gaven
Both the Rawlings Heart Of The Hide Dual Core Series and the Wilson A2000 Series baseball gloves are excellent choices. When catching the ball in the pocket there shouldn't be any discernible difference the two gloves. The Rawlings Heart Of The Hide Dual Core Series has wool blend padding in the palm which may help dampen the sting when the ball is caught in the palm.
Jeff
Would this glove work for a very advanced coach pitch shortstop? Josh
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM glove is a top quality glove. Typically, I see high school/college middle infielder's using this glove's size of 11.50". It may be too large for your coach pitch player. Depending on his age I would adjust the size. A 7 or 8 year old middle infielder should be around 10"-10.50".
Brandon
I am a playing college baseball next year (currently a high school senior) and could possibly play 3rd base, I know this is best fit for a middle infielder but will it work for 3rd base? I love the look and everything. zcg
Glove sizing comes down to personal preference. Many third basemen at the college level use an 11.5" glove.
Tyler
Do you ship outside of US? If so, how do I order it? don't look at my name
Unfortunately, we do not ship outside of the United States.
Brandon
Which is a little smaller this one, or the 11.25"? I am trying get one for my 10 year old son. Isaac
Both gloves will run pretty true to size. The 11.25" model is going to be a little smaller than the 11.50" Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM.
Noah
Is this glove good for third base on a 14U team? baseballlvr208

Katie W.

There aren't any differences between the 2012 and 2013 Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM models.
Kara
Does this glove have a shallow enough pocket to play 2nd base, and turn two with no problem? Brendan
Absolutely. At 11.5", the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM has a shallow pocket and is a very popular model among middle infielders at the High School and Collegiate levels.
Tyler
Would this glove be good for third base? Jp
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000BBDP15GM glove could work for the hot corner but is more designed for middle infield use. This is Dustin Pedroia's gameday glove and will feature a smaller wrist opening and finger stalls. If you have smaller hands it should work just fine.
Brandon
Can I use this glove for third base too? Bravo
Yes, you can use the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A2000BBDP15GM at third base. It's all about what you are comfortable with and what gives you the most confidence.
John H
How would this glove compare to the new A1K as far as break-in and fit is concerned? JohnnyL
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A2000BBDP15GM and the A1K Series will take the same amount of time to break-in. The A1K Series features smaller finger stalls than the A2000.
Kara
Will this glove be suitable for a 9 year old? Or should I stick with just youth models? Shane
The Wilson A2000 series consists of great gloves by Wilson. They are a top of the line glove that will last a very long time. This glove is suitable for a nine year old, but will require quite a bit of assistance from a parent to help the nine year old break in the glove. It is very durable leather that requires a good amount of break-in time.
Austin
What is the player break-in percentage for this glove? Mac Pender
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A2000BBDP15GM will still require much needed player break-in time. It could be as much as 75%.
Brandon
I am 11 and about 4'8" and 70 pounds and I have a really small hands for my age. Is this a good glove for me? jakman
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A2000BBDP15GM doe run small. However, we recommend the Wilson A1K Series: A1KBB41788. It has smaller finger stalls, great for a player with smaller hands.
Kara
Could this glove be used for third base by a 13 year old? Ryan
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A2000BBDP15GM would be a great option for a 13 year old third baseman.

Justin R.
Would this be a good glove for a 13 year old second baseman? Luke99
Yes, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A2000BBDP15GM would be perfect for a 13 year old middle infielder.
John H

Brandon
Is this a good glove for a 9 year old 4'5" third baseman? Miggy
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A2000BBDP15GM is slightly big for a 9-11 year old third baseman, at 11.50". The Rawlings Heart of the Hide Pro Taper Series: PRO110PT Youth is a great, high quality option for a youth third baseman at 11.00".
Katie
Can you tell me if this is the same model as the one that appears in the Baseball Express catalog? Baseball Express describes this glove as a Wilson 2000 Dustin Pedroia game day model 11 1/2". With Justballgloves.com I pay no shipping so I would rather buy it from you, but I want to make sure it is the same glove. cs
Yes, they are the same gloves. This glove is also the 11.50'' Dustin Pedroia Game Model.

Is there any way to loosen the wrist or can you only have the sung fit that Pedroia has? glove man
The wrist opening on the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) can adjusted. The laces can be pulled out for a looser fit.
Kara
What is the lace size on this glove? I want to replace it, but I don't know how much or what size leave to get. jacob3559
Unfortunately, we're not provided with the exact length of the laces used to construct a glove. And each model likely differs in the length of lacing required to get you this finished product. The manufacturer will be your best resource concerning a question like this, and you can contact Wilson directly at: 1-(800)-874-5930. They might be able to give you the exact length of the laces used to make this Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM).
Mac
My son is 11 years old. He is 5' 9" and has big hands. He currently has a Rawlings Gold Glove Gamer Series: GG204G and loves it. He mostly plays 3rd base and is looking for a new glove like this A2000, but I have some concerns about his hands being too big for this glove. Is there a similar glove like this one for him? Thanks. Ken
Yes, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) will have a smaller wrist opening and finger stalls. A similar glove with regular openings would be the Wilson A2000 Series (A2000BBG4).
Brandon
Would you recommend the steam process that some sporting good stores offer to help break in this glove or is that not good for them? Cathy
We do not recommend steaming the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) or any glove because it could cause the leather to fall apart. Here is a link with information on how to break-in a glove: http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-resource-guide/breaking-in-a-glove/
Tori
I was wondering what was the difference is between the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) "Dustin Pedroia" model and the Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4DP15) "Dustin Pedroia" model? andrew
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) "Dustin Pedroia" model uses pro stock american steerhide which is a higher quality leather than the Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4DP15) "Dustin Pedroia" model which uses jet black top shelf leather.
Damon
Can you return it? Does it cost extra to return? Alex
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM), along with all our gloves come with a 100 day guarantee. This allows you to send the gloves back in for a full refund or exchange within 100 days. We also offer Free Shipping both ways, so you never have to pay to send it back to us!
Justin R.
What's the difference between this one and the 2012 model? JJ
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) and the 2012 model did not change. They both use the same quality leather and are very durable.
Kara
I'm looking for an A2000 for an 11 y/o on an elite travel team. My concern is the glove may be too big for his hand. On the wilson custom site they list the DP 15 models as being good for smaller hands. Is this the same glove and do you agree? Ken
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) has a smaller fit and would be suitable for an 11 year old player. The other option is the Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4DP15). It is a smaller fit and the finger stalls are more narrow as well.
Kara
What country is this glove made in? Elitebaseball5
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) is made in Vietnam.
Patrick
Will this glove fit a 5'11" 3B/SS/2B? Josh
Yes, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) could fit an infielder at that height.
Brandon
What is the difference between this glove and the Wilson 11.5 inch A2000 SuperSkin Series Glove? Alex
The main difference would be the sizing and the material. The SuperSkin is a lighter weight material and will wick away moister from the players hand. The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) Dustin Pedroa model will also feature a smaller wrist opening for players with smaller hands. The SuperSkin would be more normal sized.
Patrick
Would you suggest this glove or a 1787 for a infielder/utility player. What's the difference? mksk
I would highly recommend the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) over the 1787 for a infielder/utility player. The 1787 is great, but features the 11.75" length which would be slightly too large for the middle infield positions.
Justin R.
I just got this glove and it is very stiff. I was wondering how to break-in this glove without damaging it? mksk
The best way to break-in a glove, like the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM), is by playing catch and lightly oiling it. Here is a video on breaking gloves in http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-resource-guide/breaking-in-a-glove/
Jason
Do you think it will be a good glove for an 11 year old that is 4 foot 7 and has a really small hand? Alex
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) is designed for the player who has a smaller hand that would not be big enough for a regular adult model. This is also good for a player who may be transitioning from a youth glove to an adult. Depending on your players hand size this could be a great option for that transition.
Patrick
Will this glove have as shallow of a pocket as the 1788? Eli
Yes, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) will have a shallow pocket. It is designed specifically for middle infielders.
Brandon
Should I use Rawlings Glovolium or petroleum jelly to help speed up the break in time? What will the effects be? mksk
I would stick to true glove oil for the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM). An oil like the Rawlings Glovolium would help soften the leather. It would break-in quicker as well.
Brandon
Should you use glove oil on the glove? Alex
You can use glove oil on the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM). Glove oil is really a preference for the player but you can use glove oil on this model if you choose.
Kelby
Is there any way I can get this design in the 11.75" size? chloe
Unfortunately, no. The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) is only produced in the 11.50" pattern size. The Wilson A2000 models that are 11.75" would be the 1787s.
Mac
Is this glove good for third. I have small hand and like to feel the ball. amsterdam pirates #68
Absolutely! The tighter fit offered by the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) and 11.50" pattern size seem like a great choice for you. Third basemen will typically use gloves that range in size from 11.50" to even 12.25".
Mac
Does the thin heel pad make a big difference in your opinion? big papi
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) and its low impact heel and flared design will allow for quicker ball transfers and a more comfortable feel. The wrist and finger stalls will also have a more tighter fit as well.
Brandon
I recently bought this model but need to break it in. I was considering using Aso's idea of 150-160 degree water but wouldn't that make the glove heavier? How should I break it in? BearsBaseball
I have heard of doing that to break the glove in and that would make it heavier but we do not recommend soaking the glove to break it in. We have found that just playing catch with it and working with it works best.
Cooper
Would you recommend Hot Glove from Modell's sporting goods? BearsBaseball
We do not recommend using Hot Glove on any glove, including the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM). Any kind of heat can damage the fibers of the leather. We recommend a more natural approach, where you take your time getting the glove broken in properly. Here is a link to our recommended process to get your glove broken in: http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-resource-guide/breaking-in-a-glove/.
Tessa
My hand is 7.5". Would this glove be a good fit? And will oiling this glove make it darker? Garrett
Putting oil on any glove, including the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) will darken the glove. For sizing, it is hard to say if this exact glove would fit you well, generally a glove size can be based on your age and position. You should check out our Glove Coach, it will be able to narrow down what size glove you could potentially use: http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-coach/
Tessa
I recently got this model and I steamed it. Is my glove ruined? pd
Steaming the Wilson A2000 (A2000BBDP15GM) will help break in the glove quickly, but it also increases the chance that the glove will dry out and crack the leather.
Sean
Is it good for 10 year old players? kemp ball
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) is an adult style glove with a smaller wrist opening and finger stalls that could be used by a youth with big hands or an adult with small hands.
Patrick
I am 15 years old and I play 75% shortstop and 25% center field. I was wondering if this glove will be durable enough to last 80-90 games a year for about 4 years? I was also curious as to if I could use this glove for center and short? I like a tighter wrist and less padding, but I also like smaller gloves for outfield. Tavian
It is hard to determine the exact lifespan for the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: (A2000BBDP15GM). However, this model will be excellent for a variety of infield positions including center, and short. The Pro Stock American Hide will be very tough, however, I am not entirely sure if it will be able to last through that extensive amount of play that you have listed. However, depending on how well it is taken care of, I could be wrong.
Merritt
Would this be a good glove for an 11 year old, who plays middle infield, and has a small hand? Parker
Yes, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: (A2000BBDP15GM) would be a great glove for infielders. I also think this model would be a good size for the player based on his approximate age. However, if his hands are smaller than average, I may suggest looking for a an 11.25".
Merritt
Would an 11.25 be a smaller fit than this glove? I like my glove to where the palm of the glove ends halfway on my hand. I play middle infield and I am 11 years old. Parker
Both the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) and a smaller version of the same series of gloves would fit similarly, the major difference would be the length of the fingers would be longer on the 11.5. The A2000BBDP15GM would be a great fit for your age and position.
Patrick
I was wondering if this glove would be good for any outfield positions. I also play third and a little middle infield. hayden
Yes, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) will be a great option for multiple positions on the infield and outfield.
Sean
Why did you guys stop selling the A2000 showcase series? baseballlllll
The Wilson A2000 Showcase Series was discontinued from Wilson and we have since sold out of them. We are unable to get more because they don't make them anymore.
Patrick
Will all gloves in the the DP15 series be good for the third base position? alex
Yes, the Wilson A2000 (A2000BBDP15GM) and the Wilson A1K (A1KBB4DP15) will both be good options for third base play.
Sean
Will you guys steam the glove? alex
We do not steam gloves. Steaming a glove like the Wilson A2000 (A2000BBDP15GM) will increase the probability of the leather cracking.
Sean
Can this glove be used to pitch? alex
Yes, The Wilson A2000 (A2000BBDP15GM) can be used to pitch.
Sean
Why would you recommend this glove? alex
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) is a very high quality glove, it holds its form very well and has a great leather quality.
Sean
How long does it take to break the A2000 in? cruz
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) will take some time to break-in. It could possibly take a week or two of playing catch everyday to get it where it is comfortable and fit to your hand.
Brandon
Sorry my email will not reply. If I break-in my glove like the video, will the palm crease? Pdog
Yes, the palm may crease when breaking in the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM). You could possibly put two fingers in the last finger stall and try to form a deeper closed pocket. This may help from any crease forming.
Brandon
I was wondering what is the best Wilson A2000 Glove for a player who plays mainly SS and 3rd? Looking for a glove between 11.75"-11.5". Liam
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM) would be a great choice for the short stop and third base position, since it is the infield model. The 11.50" size is ideal since infielders usually prefer to have a smaller mitt so they can transfer the ball out of the glove to their hand as quickly as possible. The open web I-web design is preferred by infielders as well, so this would be a great option to check out.
Tessa
I just ordered the A2000 and I was wondering what the easiest way to break it in is? Ian
For break-in tips on the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) check out our videos: http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-resource-guide/breaking-in-a-glove/
Jason
Is this the exact same model that DP (Dustin Pedroia) wears in games? Joe
Pedroia, like many professional players, tends to change up which specific glove model he uses for games. The most recent pictures I can find show him using an A2K model (similar to this: http://goo.gl/ECQM9H).
Mac
What color is this glove? Is it Saddle Tan? Joe
You're correct. The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) is Saddle Tan in color.
Mac
Are there any other colors? braydon
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) is only available in the brown color. However, the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A2000BBSS1786) is another A2000 with an 11.50" pattern. It does not have the Dustin Pedroia fit though.
Jason
Does this glove have less palm padding than most other gloves or does it only have less heel padding? Joey
The Low Impact Heel is actually padded to reduce sting rather than featuring less padding. The padding in the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) would be more advanced rather than less.
Patrick
Is this saddle tan, dark brown, or walnut colored? jswink23
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) is Saddle Tan in color.
Mac
How many feet of lacing does it take to re-lace the web and the fingers? stu
We are unsure as to how many feet of lacing are required on the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM). Wilson's direct number is 1-773-714-6400, if you would like to ask them directly.
Brandon
I need a replacement dual hinge web for my left handed A2000 Catfish Hunter glove. Yes, I said Catfish Hunter. The glove is 38 years old and my son throws so hard he broke the webbing. I don't want or need a new glove, just want to find the webbing. Any suggestions? Mike
To find any replacement parts, I would check with Wilson directly. Their number is 1-773-714-6400. Or if you're ever interested in a replacement, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) would be a great choice.
Brandon
Do you have to have smaller hands to use this glove? jensen22
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) will be made for a player with a smaller wrist and smaller fingers. It will have a more snug and tighter fit.
Brandon
Will this glove hurt my hand when being caught? David
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) has a low impact heel and padding to help make catching the ball more comfortable.
Patrick
Would this glove be a good fit for a 9 year old playing travel ball to use as an outfield glove? He also plays 2nd base on occasion but primarily outfield for now. He currently uses a Rawlings PRO110PPT but the 11 inch pattern seems too short for outfield play but great for the infield. Socal Dad
The 11.5 inch size of the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) would provide a slightly larger pocket than an 11 inch model which could make it better for outfield play but it would still be more of an infield glove. If you wanted to go a bit longer to an 11.75 inch glove that may be a bit better length but there are fewer options with that smaller fit.
Patrick
I have about a 7 1/2" hand measuring from the bottom of the palm (where the wrist and palm meet) to the tip of the middle finger. Would this glove fit me? BC2014
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) has a snug fit and is designed for players with smaller hands. The DP15 would be fairly tight on your hand. An option that will fit your hand better is the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB151786).
Jason
Do you recommend glove steaming? rich
We do not recommend glove-steaming because it will actually damage the integrity of the glove.
Joe
Is this glove a modified version of a Wilson (A2000BBSS1786)? ballhard7
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) is a similar glove to the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A2000BBSS1786) with the difference being the SuperSkin material which is only featured in the SuperSkin Series gloves. Wilson's SuperSkin material is twice as strong as conventional leather, repels moisture, and is very lightweight.
Tom
How do I break this glove in without causing a crease in the pocket? dsav
The best way to break the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) correctly would be by using a shaping ball and rubber bands and ensuring that while you are working with the glove you are forming it around a ball rather than without one. Breaking the glove in to where the thumb meets the other side of the glove between the pinkie and ring fingers. Here is a link to a helpful video for how to break the glove in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEYKRT1SuRU .
Patrick
Does this glove come with traditional leather or pro stiff leather? timmy turner
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) is made out of Pro Stock American Steerhide leather that is standard for A2000 series gloves.
Tom
Can you put too much glove oil on the Wilson A2000 at a time? tzimmy
Yes. It is possible to over oil the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM). If you do this, the glove will be heavier than necessary and would get softer than you would want for best durability. It is best to apply small amounts at a time and let it soak into the glove and see how the softness is affected before applying more.
Patrick
Does this come in any other colors without having to be customized? Patrick
Wilson will only make the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) in this one colorway for the non-customized options. We do carry two other custom colorways which you can find here: http://www.justballgloves.com/products/?s=a2000+dp15gm. Otherwise, you can design your own on http://www.wilsoncustomgloves.com/.

Can a 13-15 year old use this glove? boi
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) features the Dustin Pedroia fit and will be snug on a 13-15 year old hands, but it would work fine if the player wants a tighter fit.
Jason
Can I use this glove in the outfield? It is short and I like short gloves in the outfield. If not, whats a longer one that is the same color? emw
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) has an 11.50" pattern an is typically used by infielders. The size of the glove really comes down to player preference though. If you like a shorter glove, then this would work in the outfield for you. If you wanted a slightly bigger option, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (WTA20RB151796) is a 11.75" pattern and has a similar color scheme.
Jason
Is the glove going to fit my hand if I am a 5 foot 11 freshmen with big hands? austin
The Pedroia fit on the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) would not be a good fit if you have large hands. It is a more snug fit made for players with small hands.
Patrick
Is this the same thing as the DP15 A2000 that is also on the glove list? Julian
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) will be the same Dustin Pedroia game model offered in the Wilson A2000 JBG Exclusive Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM Grey) and the Wilson A2000 JBG Exclusive Baseball Glove (A2000BBDP15GM Grey).
Joe
Should I steam my Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM), yes or no? cam
We don't recommend steaming gloves like the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) because it may impact the durability.
Damon
Is this a good glove for a third baseman? BeastMode
Liz
What size is the glove? Cory
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) is going to be an 11.50 inch glove.
Frankie

The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) has a slightly outwards curved thumb stall to simply create a bigger catching surface.
Jason
How much lace does a DP15 need? tc4
Unfortunately, we do not have the amount of lace that is required for any model. It would be best to contact Wilson directly, as they should have a better idea on the amount. Wilson can be reached by phone at 800-874-5930.
Jason
Can this model be used at third base? kb
A lot of high school and collegiate players will prefer an 11.75" or 12.00" length of glove at third base since third basemen do not need to make as many quick exchanges as a shortstop or second baseman. However, if a player enjoys the tighter fit and the 11.50" length of this Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM), then I think it would be excellent for use at third base.
Ben
Is this size of glove too large for a 12 year old? Logan
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) features the Dustin Pedroia fit and works very well for a 12 year old. The 11.50" pattern is also a terrific size for a 12 year old.
Jason
Without the heel pad in does the ball hurt when you catch it? bricko
The Low Impact Heel on the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) does not mean that it has been removed. If you do remove it, it may make the glove less comfortable for fielding.
Patrick
Which type of glove web is stronger: the I-Web or the T-web? baseballboy07
Both the I-web design like what is on the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) or the Modified T-web like on the Wilson A2000 JBG Exclusive Baseball Glove (A2000 1782) are nice durable options. The T-web is a bit more reinforced with the extra lacing but the I-web is a bit more shallow for more stability.
Patrick
What size is this glove? donaldson5445
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) is an 11.50" model.

Dual welting is a design component of many of the A2000 gloves like the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) that helps create the curved shape of the fingers and supports a stable and durable pocket. It is the two strips of leather along the backside of each finger on the glove. It allows for long lasting shape but a quicker break-in.
Patrick

Jake
Whats the difference between this model and the A2000 Superskin model? t
There are a couple differences between the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) and a SuperSkin model. To start, the A20RB15DP15GM features the Dustin Pedroia fit, which means that it will have a more snug fit than the Superskin glove, which will be sized normally. Also, Superskin material isn't leather--it is very similar to leather and has a lot of the same qualities, but it will actually have a lighter feel on your hand and is 2x stronger than leather as well. It also helps to repel moisture as well.
Tessa
Do your glove orders usually take all five days to ship, or is it possible to get the glove within less than five days? Tony
It is possible to get your order in less than 5 business days. Depending on where you're located, it's possible your order will arrive in 2-3 business days.

Would the All Star System Seven Series: FGS7-IF last longer and stay more durable than this glove? baseball2015
Both the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) and the All Star System Seven Series (FGS7-IF) are high quality gloves from their respective manufacturers. Generally, with gloves, the price point will your best insight into the quality of leather as well as the durability of the glove. With that being said, this Wilson model will be constructed from a slighter higher quality leather than the All Star glove, so it will have better durability. With proper glove care, both gloves will be extremely durable though.
Tess
What is the best pocket to get a 12 year old on his glove? baseballking
This specific Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) model only comes with an I-web design. In general, web style is a matter of preference rather than one being right for a certain age.
Patrick
How long does it take to receive a Wilson A2000 SuperSkin DP15 11.5? ruben rendon
The time it would take to receive a glove like the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) would depend on when you ordered, the shipping method you select and your location. In general, our free shipping is guaranteed within 5 business days of your purchase and usually takes around three or less for most orders.
Patrick
Where can I buy web replacements for this glove? Aiden
I would recommend contacting Wilson at 1-773-714-6400 and they would be able to direct you to where you could purchase a new webbing.
John
What color is the DP15 and what color are the laces? biglefty
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) is a light brown color with dark brown laces.
John
Do you recommend flaring this glove? Goonjars
Whether or not you would want to flare the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) would be entirely up to your preference. Some players would want the glove flared, others would not.
Patrick
Do you recommend putting glove conditioner on this glove? Gio
Using glove conditioner when caring for the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM can be very beneficial. Give the most attention to the laces and the pocket, as those two areas tend to take the brunt of the beating
Marcus
What's the best glove for a 13 year old baseball player who plays over 35 games a year? jj watt
There are a lot of different gloves that would be great options to consider for a 13 year old playing 35 games a year. The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) would be ideal for a middle infielder or 3B but could also be used in the OF by putting two fingers in the pinkie slot (if you wanted to get a more reach with the glove).
Cameron
What are the differences between the DP15 and the 1786 model? julian
The difference between the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) and the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB151786) is the Pedroia Fit with the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM); this means a smaller hand opening, tighter finger stalls for a more secure fit.
Cameron
Does this glove get dirty easily? claydog
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM will not get dirty any easier than another glove. Obviously, a lighter leather will show imperfections (scratches from diving to field groundballs, etc) more than a darker glove.
Cameron
Is there a way to adjust this glove for a bigger wrist? claydog
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM is made with a smaller wrist opening and tighter finger stalls. If you were wanting to have a bigger wrist opening you could elect to go with the non-Dustin Pedroia fit or loosen up the stiching on the wrist opening and then re-tying these laces after getting the fit you are needing.
Cameron
What would be the best A2000 for a pitcher and third basemen? 27977226
The best A2000 for a pitcher/3B would typically be an 11.75 inch pattern with a closed web (this would hide the ball from the hitter). Going to a 12.00 inch pattern is also possible but this glove would not be as ideal for 3B. The reason for staying away from the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM would be due to the I-Web (makes it possible for hitters to pick up the pitch being thrown). Look into the Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB15ASO or the Wilson A2000 Series: A2015CK22GM.
Cameron
Do they make a left hand thrower? coach pete
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM is not offered in a left hand thrower model.
John P.
What would be the best way to break-in a A2000? bob
The best way to break-in the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM, or any other A2000 model, is going to be one of personal preference. We would recommend viewing the following link to get tips from the pros on how to break-in a glove at: http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-resource-guide/breaking-in-a-glove/
Cameron
What would be the best size and glove for a pitcher and ss? bib
The best glove for a pitcher and SS would be an 11.50 inch pattern with a closed web (to hide the ball). Since the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM has an I-Web it would not be ideal for a pitcher (does feature the 11.50 inch pattern though that is ideal for a SS). The 2016 Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB161789 would be an ideal fit though for both positions.
Cameron
I am getting a Wilson A2000 1788 SuperSkin model and I want to know if you should steam it? mballer 17
We advise against getting a glove steamed. Steaming the leather can weaken the leather fibers and shorten the lifespan of a glove. It is not ideal to steam the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM or a SuperSkin model.
Jason
I play 3rd and sometimes 2nd. Is this glove good for 3rd base? J.P
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM, and its 11.50 inch pattern, is a good glove to consider for use at 3B.
Cameron
How do I get a crease out of a Wilson A2000? Andrew2
Creases will typically occur due to the way the glove was broken in. The best way to help rectify this on the Wilson A2000 is to try and reshape the glove. This may be tough to do though if the glove is already completely broken-in.
Cameron
Is this a good glove for a 10U baseball player? He plays 3rd base . zion rose
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM is a great glove but not necessarily for someone who is a 10U player. The reasons for this are due to the leather quality (will be higher quality than most gloves and tough for a youth player to break-in), wrist opening will be large as well as the finger stalls. This glove will more than likely flop on the hand and take some time to get game ready for a youth player. Would recommend looking into Wilson A1K models as these gloves will fit the hand better and not require as extensive of a break-in period.
Cameron
Is this glove for a short stop at 11 years old? Juan Carlos
This Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) comes with an 11.50" length and a tighter hand fitting. It may be a little large in length and fit starting out for an 11 year old shortstop, but it is certainly a model that could be grown into with time.
Ben
Will buying this glove be better to do online or in store? Carson Daniels
Purchasing the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM online or in store is one of personal preference. Here at JustBallGloves, we do not have a store front location but we do offer a 100 day guarantee on all of our gloves; this take some of the worry, if not all, of buying a glove online.
Cameron
It is possible to get this model in 11 1/4 inches? Angel
Unfortunately, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM is not made in an 11.25" pattern. Here is a link to the A2000's that are available in the 11.25" pattern: http://www.justballgloves.com/products/series~a2000/size~11.25/?s=2000
Jason
Is this a glove for a twelve year old shortstop/third baseman? Also, will it fit well? colin davies
This Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) will come with an 11.50" length and a Pedroia Fitting that has a smaller hand opening and tighter finger stalls for a more secure fit. This could certainly be used by a 12 year old playing short or third. As well, I think it will fit that age of player (if it is a little large at first, your player should grow into it with time).
Ben
Would tightening the wrist strap on a 1786 give the same feel as this glove? Adam
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM has both a more narrow wrist opening and finger stalls. Tightening the wrist strap on a 1786 could make it fit tighter on your wrist, but it will not have any bearing on the finger stalls.
Marcus
A teammate with large hands used my glove without my permission and stretched the finger stalls. Now my fingers feel loose and I no longer have a secure grip inside the glove. Is there anything I can do to the glove or something I can use so that my glove will fit again? C MORGS
The best option would be to wear a batting glove on your fielding hand.
Cameron
Is this glove traditional or pro stiff? nn
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM is made of pro stock leather that provides for a long-lasting structure. This glove has a Pedroia fit which will include a smaller hand opening and tighter finger stalls for a more snug and secure fit.
Angelique
I have an 11 year old who has played more 3B and 2B this year. I hear people talk about the Wilson A2000 gloves, but I am not sure which is the right one for him. Does this sound like the right glove? john
Yes, I would recommend this Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) for your 11 year old player. The glove has an 11.50" length which will work at 3B and 2B and it also has a tighter fitting in the wrist opening and finger stalls which will be excellent for an 11 year old.
Ben
How long does it take to break in this glove and how do I go about breaking it in? curby jones
Typically higher end gloves like the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM take longer to break in than gloves with softer and less durable leather. It will most likely take about a month to get this glove decently broken in for game use. Please refer to the following link for tips and videos on how to properly break in a glove: http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-resource-guide/breaking-in-a-glove/.
Angelique
Is it alright to use a regular mallet to break in a glove? Or do I need one of the special ones that are shaped like a baseball? Harrison
To help break-in the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM, utilizing a baseball-styled mallet is best since it will help mock the impact of a baseball and help shape your pocket correctly.
Marcus
How much does this weigh in gram? CK22
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) weighs approximately 57 grams.
Jake
Could I use this glove at third base? bball
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM has an infield specific pattern that is ideal for use at second base, short stop, and third base.
Angelique
Why is the glove called the A2000? We have had one for approx. 30 years and was wondering where the name came from. jimmy mac
We do not know why Wilson decided to name this construction of glove the "A2000" model. Essentially, all Wilson A2000 gloves will feature Pro Stock Leather, rolled dual welting and Dri-Lex wrist lining.
Cameron
Could I use this for catcher? baseballLover01
Technically, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM could be used by a catcher. However, it is not designed for that position and it is better suited for a middle infielder.
Jason
My son is a junior in high school. He plays ss or 3rd and sometimes pitches (not much). I want to get him a Wilson A2000 but not sure which glove to pick? Can u give me a few top options? JIMMY
This Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) is a good option for him if he has a smaller hand. The Pedrioa fit on this glove will cause the hand fit to be smaller. The 2017 Wilson A2000 11.5" Baseball Glove (A20RB171786) is another great option to take a look at. It will feature a more normal hand opening and is a very high quality glove. One last option to check out would be the 2017 Wilson A2000 11.25" Baseball Glove (A20RB171788). All of them are very quality gloves and would be good to check out.
Carter
Should you oil a brand new Wilson A2000 DP15? kade
You can definitely oil a new Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM). Here is a great video on how to properly break in a glove - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEYKRT1SuRU
Carter
Is this glove good for a third baseman playing high school and travel ball? james
The 11.5" size and infield specific pattern of the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM makes it a suitable glove for a middle infielder or third baseman. 11.75" is also a common size for third base if you are wanting a slightly larger glove.
Angelique
Is there a Wilson A2000 glove that has the smaller wrist opening and finger stall (Pedoria fit) and a padded heel to avoid hand sting? This is for an 9 year old playing travel ball at short stop. j
Looking at a good fit for a 9 year old within the Wilson A2000 lineup a Dustin Pedroia fit would be best as this model offers smaller hand opening, tighter finger stalls for more secure fit. May want to assist player breaking in this glove as the higher leather quality will more than likely make it tough for a youth player to do so (will be stiff out of the box and not ready for use day 1). The following models would be the best ones to consider: Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM, 2016 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB16DP15SS, 2017 Wilson A2000 11.5" Baseball Glove: A20RB17DP15. If you review the following link one can learn how to properly break-in such a glove: http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-resource-guide/breaking-in-a-glove/
Cameron
With regards to the model 1880 glove, what is the size and was the glove made in the USA? What are your thoughts on quality as well? proximo
The Wilson A2000 1880 model was a 11.00 inch pattern (to our knowledge; hard to know for sure as this glove has been out of circulation for some time now). As for where this glove was manufactured, more than likely this glove was made overseas.
Cameron
What is the little thing that comes with the glove called that says A2000 and it's small? lubby23
Some gloves may feature a "dog tag" like item that is attached to the glove and would be removed once a player starts using the glove. As for the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM we are unaware of these being attached to the glove. These gloves will typically have an attachment that will discuss some of the highlights of the glove but this is printed on a piece or card stock/cardboard like paper.
Cameron
My son is 11 and looking for a glove for him to have until high school. Is now a good age to transition him into an adult glove? Like the Wilson A2000, he currently has the A800. dad
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM is a great option to consider for an 11 year old player who is seeking a glove that will offer higher leather quality. The Pedroia fit will give this glove a smaller hand opening and tighter finger stalls to allow a smaller hand to fit in the glove. There is no "correct or right time" to make the transition from a youth model glove (which typically features a lower end leather to allow for easier break in) to more of an adult style glove like the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM and its pro stock leather. If you have the patience to break in this glove then it would be a great glove to get as you should be able to get multiple seasons from this glove with proper care.
Cameron
I have a Clayton Kershaw edition A2000 and I was wondering if it would still work well on the infield having that closed web? chase
The glove will still be fine for infield use. The closed web feature is often used for pitcher's gloves so that batters can't see through the webbing to possibly see the grip of the pitch. It should have no effect on infield play.
Kyle J.
Does it hurt if the ball hits your palm in the glove? Oreo
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM has additional padding and, with the I-Web design, it is best to catch the ball in the palm of the glove; this will allow for quicker transfers on double play turns. Player might feel a little sting from catching the ball in the palm but I would not say it would hurt.
Cameron
Is it the same as dp15? Andrew baseball
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) features the Pedroia Fit, which has the smaller hand opening and tighter finger stalls.
Carter
Can u put water on a A2000 baseball glove? ant
We would not recommend getting the glove wet or soaked if you can avoid it. Prolonged water exposure can significantly reduce the life of the leather.
Kyle J.
I have read that this model does not feature padding in the palm or back heal of the glove. How does this affect how it plays? do2910
The heel and palm padding is removed on the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM for easier closure and to reduce rebound on bad-hops.
Sean
Since the DP15 is NOT made for a left handed thrower, what Wilson A2000 model most closely resembles the characteristics of the DP15? Joe
Unfortunately, there will not be any A2000s that are made like this Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) and will have an 11.5" length, I-Webbing and Left Hand Thrower option. I would not be able to say that there will be an A2000 that really mimics this DP15 for left hand throwers.
Ben
What would be the best A2000 model for a 13 year old who pitches and plays 2nd base? baseball16
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM has an I-Web and would be great for 2B but not ideal for a pitcher. A better option would be the Wilson A2000 Series: A20151788A as this glove has an A-Web which allows the pitcher to hide the baseball in their glove.
Cameron
Will my hand fit in this glove? I am 18 years old, 6 feet tall, and a SS. jordo
The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM is going to feature a narrower adult fit than than a standard fit glove. It would be hard to say without being able to try the glove on, which is why we offer a 100 Day Guarantee on all our gloves.
Logan
I have heard that A2000s run a little small. Is this true? If so, would going up a size or 2 sizes help? GBaseball
We have not heard whether the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM or any other A2000 model runs small compared to another brand. The Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM will have the Pedroia fit (smaller hand opening and tighter finger stalls for a more secure fit) and this will make the glove differ from other A2000 models.
Cameron
Does throwing a softball into a basball glove ruin the glove. RRA2000
Throwing a softball into the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM will not ruin the glove. However, I would recommend throwing a baseball into it during the break in process.
Dan
What does XL or other letters mean after the A2000 vintage gloves? Nick
Typically, when a glove is listed with a XL in the title it means that the finger stalls with be extended. With regard to A2000 models, the XL is usually classified as a Slow Pitch glove.
Dan
My son is is 17 would it be okay for him to use the Wilson A2000 at 3rd base as well as while pitching? brian christian
Yes, he could use the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM at 3rd base and he could also use it while pitching.
Carter
I bought my daughter the A2000 and I would put a softball in it and put the band around it to shape it. She fields it fine but struggles with securing the backhand. Her fielding instructor is a former college player who owns many of these gloves, and she said it hasn't shaped properly, causing the issue with the back hand. Is it able to be reshaped? chuck
Past a certain point in their lifespan and after enough use, it is very difficult to "reshape" a glove. We always recommend breaking in gloves by playing catch/wearing them as that provides the best and most natural break-in. The glove will shape to exactly how the players catches and squeezes the glove. Artificial ways such as the ball and rubber band method can help speed up the break-in, but it breaks the glove in an unnatural shape most times.
