Pros: A good glove for sure, with a good smell leather. It is not too stiff and can be used already after a few weeks of catch ball. Nice look. For small and average hands.

Cons: He is quite thin. The padding is not at his best. The laces are very long, but it's up to you to cut them. Overall impression is not the one I expected. The leather looks unimpressive. I hoped for more for this price range.

I'm a 14 year old looking for a good quality glove but have a smaller wrist. Is this a good glove for me? Hootiehoo34
The Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) would be a great option for you. The design of the glove is specifically tailored for players with a smaller wrist.

I'm a left handed pitcher. I play some center field when needed and I'd like to know if I should get this glove or the Rawlings Heart Of The Hide Dual Core Series (PRO1175DCC)? Will
Both the Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) and the (PRO1175DCC) would be awesome choices for pitching. You could not go wrong with either of these.

I am 11 years old and play pitcher. I'm looking for a new glove. Is the Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) a good fit for me? lucas
Yes. The Wilson A1K Series are great for transition between youth and adult models. The Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) is a little bigger than what we would recommend for that age and position. We would recommend an 11.00" model for that age and this model is an 11.75".

My son is 11 1/2 and weighs 90 lbs. He is 60" tall. He pitches and plays outfield in an elite league. Is this the right glove for him? Would the 12.25" be a better size? maria savino
At age 11, the 11.75" Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) would be a better recommended size compared to a larger 12.25".
Brandon
Would you recommend this glove for pitching and third base or just for pitching at the high school level? Kurt
The Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) is an 11.75" pattern, which is right in the ideal size range for both pitching and the third base position. Typically, a high school aged player will use an 11.75"-12" glove. This would be a great option for both positions.
Tessa
I'm 5'10" and 15 years old. I pitch and play outfield for my high school team. Is this a good glove for pitching and playing outfield? Juice
Yes, the Wilson A1K Series: (A1KBB4B2) will be ideal for both pitching, and outfield play.

My 11 year old son plays a variety of positions, mostly infield and pitching. What my main concern is is if this glove will fit him properly so he can play efficiently with it? Rick
The Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) would be considered a transitional size glove where the wrist opening and finger stalls are slightly bigger than on a youth model but smaller than an adult. For a player of your sons age this glove could potentially be a great fit. However, if it is either too big or too small, you are covered under the JustBallGloves.com 100 day guarantee.

College Baseball Player that pitches and plays second base. This a good two way glove? Thoughts on the Rawlings 11.75" Dan Haren HOH Series Glove? cnnrlppn
The Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) is designed more as a transitional gloves for players that are moving from youth to an adult model. The finger stalls will be narrower compared to a regular adult model. If you are a pitcher and play second base I would take a look at the Rawlings Heart of the Hide Series Derek Jeter Model (PRODJ2), Rawlings Heart of the Hide Pro Mesh Series (PRO204DM) and the Marucci Pro Founders' Series (M13FG1150T). All three of these models use very high quality and will feature a web design to help hide the ball when you are on the mound.

I am 6 foot 3 inches tall with a thin wrist and thin but long fingers. I like the idea of a snugger fit, but are the finger holes considerably shorter as well as narrower? andy
The finger stalls on the Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) will be a bit shorter than an adult model as well as being thinner. If you want to try the glove and see if it will fit for you, JustBallGloves.com offers a 100 day trial period where you could return it if it does not work.
Patrick
My son is an 11U travel ball player. He is on the smaller side at 4 foot 7 and 75 pounds. He has the 11.5 inch A1K for his pitching position. We are looking for a center fielder glove (his main position). Because he is on the smaller side I don't want a glove that is too large, but want to make sure it is the right size for outfield. Is a 12 inch glove preferable to an 11.75? He does love the Wilson Gloves. Any suggestions even if it is not Wilson? Dave
Either an 11.75 inch design like the Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) or a bigger model like the Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4OF1225) could work well. If the idea is to keep it fairly small though, I would go with the 11.75.
Patrick
What is the difference between this glove and the A1K Pedroia fit? Also, which glove would be better for a 13 year old who plays second base and 3rd base with average hand? johnny baseball
All models of the A1K line like the Wilson A1K Series (A1KBB4B2) feature the "Pedroia Fit" this simply means that the finger stalls and wrist opening are smaller than a standard adult glove to fit on a smaller hand. If your player needs a smaller than adult fit, this would be a good choice for the positions you mentioned but the 2016 Wilson A1K Series (A1KRB16DP15) would be a more typical pocket style for what you are looking for.
