Description

Pro-Level Performance for the Up-And-Coming Player - the Wilson A1K is BACK!

The Wilson A1K Pro Staff takes the same legendary A2000 and A2K patterns designed for the game's Elite and tweaks them slightly to meet the needs of Intermediate to advanced level players everywhere. Built from top-quality full grain steer hide leather, the A1K Pro Staff Series provides pro-level performance without the need for a lengthy break-in. This high-end steer hide leather is the best quality available on the open market, and it blends a high level of durability with a softer, mold-able feel that allows you to form the glove to your exact preference. Each glove in the A1K Pro Staff Series also features the Pedroia Fit. This feature includes all of the fit modifications that Dustin Pedroia requests for his own game model glove. These include a smaller hand opening and tighter finger stalls for a more snug fit, longer laces, and a low profile heel. By removing the padding typically found at the base of the pocket or "heel", Wilson is able to create a design that closes easier and minimizes the rebound created when bad-hops hit the base of the glove.

This model features a 12.25" pattern size, a Modified T-Web, and is perfect for a Youth to Intermediate Outfielder. Pick yours up today, with Fast, Free Shipping and a 100 Day Money-Back Guarantee, right here at JustBallGloves.com - where we're here for you from Click To Catch!

Pros: Once broken in this glove should last but get ready to work for the break in. If all other gloves are loose on your hand/fingers/wrist this would be a good glove.

Cons: This glove is for a male with a small hand. . If all other gloves are loose on your hand this would be a good glove.

Pros: I love this glove, played with it for 2 seasons before my puppy tore it up. It has good leather and shape. Great glove. Exactly what you expect from an A1K. Might buy another.

Cons: Takes a while to break in. Might be a little tight.

Would this work for a high school outfielder? derek
The Wilson A1K Pro Staff Series Baseball Glove (A1K0SAOF1225) is going to have Wilson's "Pedroia Fit." The Pedroia Fit means that the glove will have a smaller hand opening and tighter finger stalls. If the player has a smaller hand then this A1K would work well for him.
John
Would this glove be big enough for slow pitch infield? Skippy b.
This Wilson A1K Pro Staff Series Baseball Glove (A1K0SAOF1225) will come with a 12.25" length that should be large enough for use on the infield of a slowpitch game (it may be a little small for the 12" ball, but definitely manageable). One thing to note is that this glove will come with a Pedroia Fitting that will feature a smaller wrist opening and narrower finger stalls for an intermediate aged player (11-14 years old). For an adult, the fitting may be a little tight if you have a larger hand.
Ben
Would this glove work well for high school and how much smaller are the finger stalls and hand opening? Trev
The Wilson A1K Pro Staff Series Baseball Glove: A1K0SAOF1225 could be a good option for some high school players but certainly not all. The reason for this is because this glove will have a smaller wrist opening and tighter finger stalls.
Cameron
Would this glove last me for all 4 years of high school? Trev
With proper care the Wilson A1K Pro Staff Series Baseball Glove: A1K0SAOF1225 could possibly get a player through 4 years of high school.
Cameron
i have the dustin pedroia model infield glove are the finger stalls and wrist the same size for this glove as it is that one? Brady Dowell
Yes, the Wilson A1K Pro Staff Series Baseball Glove (A1K0SAOF1225) will have a smaller hand opening and finger stalls like the Pedroia model.
Damon
Would this glove be too big for a 10 year old outfielder? I wasn't sure if it would be ok because of the tighter fit. He needs an outfielders glove. Thanks Frank
I think that the Wilson A1K Pro Staff Series Baseball Glove (A1K0SAOF1225) would be a great option for a 10 year old outfielder. It should fit well if I had to guess, but everybody's hands are different. If he has larger hands than the average 10 year old I would check out the 2017 Wilson A2000 12.5" Baseball Glove (A20RB17KP92).
