Description

Vinci Pro gloves are the finest handcrafted gloves on the market and are designed with quality in mind. You can have the same quality the professionals wear with a Vinci. Individually handcrafted by Master Craftsman with years of experience and training The Custom Pro Junior Series utilizes pro patterned gloves with pro grade leather palms. On the back of the glove we utilized leightweight softer leather for a lighter weight for a child and "ease of squeeze" for the youth player. Our Custom Pro Junior Series leather is pre-treated at the factory allowing for a much shorter break in time. Our high quality leather allows our gloves to be durable, yet playable and retain their shape longer. Vinci exclusive deep pocket design allows for better control and less spin. They also come with heavy-duty thumb. More than just a glove, every model number and signature has a meaning. Each Vinci Pro model is dedicated to Benjamin Vinci, a father, grandfather and WWII Veteran who left a great impact on so many people. You can find Benjamin Vinci's signature on each glove we make. He is the reason behind this company, so when you use a Vinci Pro glove, know that the story behind your glove is the story of an American hero. Put on a Vinci Pro glove and "Make the Play!" Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior 12" Youth Baseball Glove: BRV1950? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Have an 8 yr old player that plays infield and outfield. Would this be a good choice of outfield and a 10.5" or 11" for the infield primarily shortstop and second? Jeff
The Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series (BRV1950) is too large for an eight year old. We recommend the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series (BRV1953), 10.50" as a utility glove.
Kara
Would you recommend the 12.00" or 11.50" for an almost 10 year old infielder? Jenn
We recommend the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series (BRV195) for an outfielder. The Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series ( BRV1957) is a better option for an infielder.
Kara
My son is 10 yrs old and he primarily plays catcher. He needs a glove when he plays infield or outfield. What size do you suggest 11.5" or 11.25". ManTall
I would recommend a 11.00" pattern for your son. The Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series (BRV1950) would be too large. Take a look at the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series (BRV1950) which should be perfect for your needs.
Bobby
My son is 10 years old and primarily plays center and left field. Would this be the best size for him? Kevin
The 12 inch pattern on the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series: (BRV1950) is a great size for an outfielder of that age. It is long enough to make it easier for them to snag a ball on the run but still small enough that it will be light and maneuverable for a youth player.
Patrick
Do you think this would be a good choice for a 11 year old outfielder with small hands? bbdad
The Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series (BRV1950) would be a good size for a player of that age and that position.
Patrick
Do you think this is a good glove for high school baseball? ej
The Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series (BRV1950) would be too small of a fit inside the glove for most high school level players.
Patrick
I'm looking for a new glove for my son. The last two seasons he wore the BVR1953. It seemed a little small during All Stars. Would you recommend the 1950? He will be 11 next season and he pitches and plays outfield. Kevin
The Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series (BRV1950) Youth glove will have a similar-sized hand opening and finger stalls as the BRV1953. The largest differences will lie in that the BRV1950 is a 12.00 inch pattern which is quite a bit larger than the 11.00 inch pattern of the BRV1953. Additionally, the BRV1950 is an H-web while the BRV1953 is a Basket-web. Our glove coach recommends an 11.50 inch pattern for a player of his size, so he could use the BRV1950.
Joe
Do you have this glove for a left handed thrower? robert
No, I am sorry. We only carry the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series (BRV1950 Youth) in a right handed thrower.
Brandon
My son plays on an 11u travel team. He pitches and plays outfield. Would you recommend this glove or another? Jeff
For an 11 year old outfielder, I would recommend a glove with a 12.00" length on it like this Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series (BRV1950 Youth). If you were looking for a Vinci model of glove, then I do not think you would need to look further than this model for your player.
Ben
How would this glove do for a 10 year old girl playing softball? Fred
The Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series: BRV1950 Youth is a baseball glove so it has a slightly smaller pocket compared to a female fastpitch glove. Your player may experience fielding issues due to the size of a softball as it is possible that the ball will pop out of the pocket frequently.
Angelique
We have had good luck with Vinci as my son has used the 10.50 and 11.00 inch models. He will turn 11 during the next season. He primarily plays infield but does play outfield also. If we want this glove to last two seasons, would you recommend the 1950 or 1951? Guest
Either the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series: BRV1950 Youth or the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series: BRV1951 Youth would last two seasons. If you are looking for a better option for both positions then the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series: BRV1951 Youth would be a better selection as this is a 11.50 inch model; the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series: BRV1950 Youth is a 12.00 inch model with a deep pocket and will not be as ideal for infield use.
Cameron
Is this a good glove for a 12 year old? NJ
The Vinci Pro Custom Pro Junior Series: BRV1950 Youth is a good glove to consider for a 12 year old. Based on the 12.00 inch pattern, it would best be suited for OF play.
