Description
Shoeless Joe Gloves (1175FPHW) give players the quality, feel, and style of the softball gloves worn by professional ball players over the last 100 years. You can choose glove models worn in the first half of century in the Golden Age Series, today's models in the Professional Model Series, youth gloves with the Joe Junior Series, or fastpitch softball gloves with the Shoeless Jane Series. Shoeless Joe gloves are individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. Shoeless Joe gloves are then hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through their breaking in process that leaves the glove with a beaten up and "Game Worn" look and feel, of a broken in glove. Thus each glove is unstructured giving it its own unique features. Players can choose to play with an old time or modern day web without having to change to another model. A great play is lived only once, but your glove, you'll keep it forever. If you end a game with a clean uniform our gloves are not for you. Shoeless Joe: When It Was Just a Game. Free Shipping!
Warranty
All Shoeless Joe gloves come with a thirty (30) day warranty from Shoeless Joe. If you get a Shoeless Joe glove from JustGloves and an issue arises within 30 days from the purchase date, please let the Glove Experts from JustGloves know. The Glove Experts are kind, courteous and happy to help organize a shipment to Shoeless Joe so your glove can be repaired or replaced!

Pros: Perfect glove for the smaller hand player. Almost broke-in when it was received.
Cons: None.
great glove Zoe Bailey player
Pros: Nice pocket, extremely easy to break in, has a nice sharp pop when the ball hits the mit, great for scooping up grounders
Cons: No cons

Pros: My dad ordered this glove because he loved the look of the glove.. But was skeptical about the performance of the glove I play 16u travel ball,3rd base. I must say I love the feel and ease the to close the glove from the start. its only gotten better the more I use it.. don't be afraid buy it.. you'll love it...
Cons: sort of a bad smell. my dad says it reminds him of when he played..
Amazed!!! Bought 2 more Shoeless Gloves! C Morgan parent
Pros: -Quality material -Quality craftsmanship -Game ready -Feels great! -Daughter loved it
Cons: none
11 year olds dream glove Cool Hand Luke parent
Pros: The glove had a very quick break in. It was almost game ready the first day actually, probably was. When a softball gets in this glove it stays in this glove. Love the leather it exudes quality. Her coach picked this glove up demonstrating a defensive move. He told me he was not expecting such a quality glove and he continued to use the glove throughout the camp. Referring to it as that GOOD glove.
Cons: None that she's found.
Jeremy
Pros: Ordered the glove at 9pm EST with Next Day Shipping and received it at 3:45 the next afternoon. The glove is the quality I was expecting. It was a little stiffer than anticipated upon arrival, but after only a few hours of working on it, it feels ready to go. DD has yet to use it but I see no reason why this glove won't be her favorite. Great service from Ballglovewarehouse. I will do business with them again.
Cons: None.
Phantasy24
Pros: Glove is awesome. Leather is excellent and competes with the top Wilson and Mizuno leather. Perfect glove for middle infield or 3rd base(women). There is a soft wrist strap on the inside of glove not shown that helps a smaller hand control the glove its also padded. Those that know how a glove should react and how a glove should fit will enjoy and love this glove and the feel of your fingers inside. There will be no sliding of hand inside this glove.
Cons: Not a con but things I wish would have been said that are things that people who know gloves should know. 1. wrist strap is adjustable but only to a point. Most gloves are like this but would love a glove that isn't sewn to where the wrist strap could be even tigher if needed for smaller players. Was hoping the strap wasn't sewn and it was. Still gets smaller than most gloves. 2. Wasn't as broke in as I had hoped. Now for an older player with stronger hands you are set, however if your buying this for someone 11 and younger you will need to spend some time breaking it in so they can open and close it with ease. HOWEVER the time is much less than a normal glove and that is a huge plus.

Pros: Great glove for your smaller, competitive, daughter. Quality leather and construction from Mexico(not China).Comparable with Nocona and less $.
Cons: It does smell weird at first, but that does go away quickly if used and oiled(we used Nocona glove oil).
TW
Pros: My daughter is a lefty and has used this glove with ease since she was 7. We did have to break it in a little due to her age and strength. Now she's 9 and is able to open and close easily.
Cons: None

Pros: Quick break-in. Quality leather. Went through several gloves until we found this one. Great for a younger player moving into competitive play, while wanting a glove that she can use for several seasons.
Cons: I do worry that it may become too soft.
good at first Yvette - Softball player
Pros: No need to break in. Glove was ready to use.
Cons: I didn't want to leave a review until my daughter had used it for a few months. Now she has used it for a few months, we are shopping for a new glove! We thought this glove was going to be great... WRONG!! My daughter plays travel ball and uses her glove 5-6 days a week. Every time she uses this glove it stains her hand brown and it's all loose now. Glove has a horrible pocket and flaps open. If this review allowed pictures, I would've posted one. I will never buy this brand again!
Best glove daughter has evee had Christy H parent
Pros: My daughter is very small foe her age, plays 12u, after reading recommendations we decided to go with the 11.75 Shoeless Jane. I was worried it would not adjust to fit her small hand but it fits her better than her old glove. it came almost game ready, of course we had to work with it some but we received on a Thursday & she used it in a tournament just 2 days later.
Cons: none
Dad
Pros: Great for the younger player wanting to move into their first "real glove". I bought one for my 9 year old at the end of her 9 year old season. She was a smaller girl and it was perfect for her 10 year old season. I will be buying one for my younger daughter soon.
Cons: It only lasted a year, and then became almost to broken in. But was more than worth it for the way it performed that year. However, I never sent it in for reconditioning. That may have extended the life. The wrist strap didn't tighten enough. However, I brought it to a local leather store and they put larger velcro on it for $10 and it was perfect.

Pros: My 8 year old has small hands and this glove is taylord for smaller hands. Good leather and great pocket. Stiff on edges so it shouldnt get sloppy.
Cons: None so far. Needs some break in time. Not a professional level glove but close.
Excellent choice Lydia Braton player
Pros: ready to use, soft and best of all the smell of the glove is phenomenal!
Cons: not 1
Das7189
Pros: Good looking glove
Cons: Didn't like the pocket or the way the pinkie finger was so stiff and bent outward.
Great Glove Ky Dad parent
Pros: Bought glove for 8 year old daughter. Great quality, broke in easy. No regrets.
Cons: A little heavier than her old glove but quickly got used to it.
Brandy
Pros: Glove broke in very easily
Cons: Velcro wore out after 1 season, disappointing.
Cowboy
Pros: This glove is darn near broke in when you receive it. I just purchased my daughter's 3rd one. She has used 2 of these gloves over 5 years playing traveling softball and High School softball at the shortstop position.
Cons: When they go flat, you got your monies worth...

Cons: None yet.
Things parents should know Kathy Orbelas Parent
Pros: My daughter has used a shoeless Jane 12in since the beginning of 14u she is now 18u. It’s time for a new glove and we are going with 11.75. I read some of the reviews and would like to give some advice. #1 at the end of each season send the glove in for the reconditioning, it’s an amazing program the glove comes back looking and feeling brand new, they tighten it up and replace the Velcro. My daughter is 4’11” and has small hands so she wears her glove tight and the Velcro wears out. The last time we sent it in I called and talked to them and they extended the Velcro on the glove so she could get a tighter fit. The Shoeless Joe/Jane company is amazing and if you have any problems Call them.
Cons: No cons
Awesome glove! Ace22 Parent
Pros: Quality material, nice pocket, daughter loves it and gives her a lot of confidence when fielding. The glove also has excellent padding. DD plays 10u travel ball, and loves the smell of the glove.
Cons: Does leave an orange stain on the hand and is a little heavy at first but doesn’t seem to bother her.
Good Buy Arnie G Parent
Pros: I bought almost the same glove. Instead, a Shoeless Joe for my son who plays short and pitches. It looked a smaller than what he was use to but now he loves it. The glove traps balls better because of its more compact shape. Now, the marketing gimmick is that they're broken in already but it's not true. It took us 2 weeks of use and then finally it was well-broken in to be game ready. It was somewhat malleable so the breaking in process was no where where near breaking in your standard glove. It was a lot easier--by far. Go for it--get the glove. We also have a Shoeless Jane glove for catching. By far, it's great! My son, who occasionally catches, prefers it over his AllStar baseball mit.
Cons: A leather strap in the horizontal H bar in the web tattered a bit. I replaced and fixed it. Everything else is holding up great.
Great glove!! Anthony Parent
Pros: Daughter plays travel ball and absolutely loves her glove. Great design has that old school feel and swallows up the ball.
Cons: A little heavy at first and leaves an orange stain on her hand on those hot muggy days but she doesn’t mine.
Great Quality, on the Heavier Side Linda Parent
Pros: Great Quality with a strong smell of Real Leather that is hard to find these days. Comes already broken in.
Cons: After investing into a GREAT bat, I decided that it was finally time to do the same for a glove as my daughter is about to turn 11, has been playing ball for over 5 years now, and is preparing to switch to travel ball. I thought that the Shoeless Jane would be a great start after doing some research. I was disappointment to find that the size and weight of the 11.75 appears much more suitable for an older teenager or adult as it is extremely heavy and hard for my daughter to control.

My daughter plays 10U select ball. She plays third and first base. She is 9 and is currently using a 11.50" glove. She says it is too small. I'm trying to decide between this or a 12.00" glove. What do you recommend? Dad
My daughter is nine. She has a small hand. Will this glove tighten down on her hand enough? Will it be broken in to the extent that the sides are floppy? Josh
My daughter is 12, plays a variety of infield positions. Looking for a glove that she can use for two or three more seasons. She likes the smaller size, not because of her hand size but because she can get the ball out quicker. Is the 11.75" too small for her as she turns 13/14 years old? AirJosie14
My daughter is 8 years old & plays second / shortstop on a 8u & 10u fast pitch travel team. She has an 11.50 glove. Would you recommend this glove or a different size Asked by softball dad

Is there significant size difference or improvement between a 12 inch basket weave and an 11.75 inch H web? My daughter likes the looks of the H web better but I fear it will be too small. She plays 2B and outfield. Don
What is the weight of the 11.75" glove? rick
My daughter is 9 and playing 3rd year 8U. She plays 1st and 3rd. She has a 12" now, not sure of brand. I don't know whether this glove is better or if I should go with the 12" basket weave model? Please help! I would like a glove that is good now but that she will be able to use and be comfortable with for a while. Danielle
Looking for a good quality glove with little break-in, soft, and well padded. Is this a good choice for 14U 3rd base? 5brownz
I am considering this glove or the Akadema AJB74. I realize the Akadema is a 12 inch and this is 11.75, but other than that, is there one you would recommend over the other in terms of quality, durability, etc.? And is one lighter weight than the other? It is for an 11 year old middle infielder. Steve
Can this glove be used by a female who plays baseball instead of softball, or would a small male baseball glove be better? joe

Looking for a glove for my daughter. She will be 10 in August and plays 2nd base on her her 10U team. What do you recommend? Sandy
My daughter is 10 years old (11 in July), plays Little League in the spring and travel ball in the fall. I don't want to get her a glove she'll grow out of too fast but not one that is way too big. She's about 4'7", plays primarily outfield but some 2nd base. Will this be a good fit? lafa10
My daughter is 9 years old (turning 10 in October) and plays competitive fast pitch softball. She plays SS, 2B and CF. She's on the smaller side (4'6", 60 lbs) and I want a glove she can have for multiple seasons. Is 11.75" a good size for her or should I look into a 11.50" (or smaller) glove instead? Brad
My daughter will be 10 in July and is currently playing with her fathers glove. She plays on a 10u fastpitch travel team playing left field and 2nd base. She likes the "bigger" glove. What size should I get her with a easy break in? Gabrielle
